Default Hey There

Happy- It most likely is the meds that is keeping you from the loss that you want. Don't let it get you down. Keep on doing what you are doing. Are you eating on the middle to low end of your points? You can increase your exercise by a few min. and that might help. More protien means more points.
Good for you Meme- You will get your results. Hope Ross is doing better.
Mima.. I expect that this weekend will be nice. We are going out with my sister sat. Her Birthday is Friday. She was my 13th year birthday present. We have always been close. Sunday ,I imagine my son has something up his sleeve. He was on the phone with his dad last night.I hope it will be a quiet day. Right now ,I don't think I am up for much.I know you are waiting anxiously to get home. I am surprised you aren't already there.
Hey Candice, Ally..I hope your day is great..
Joanne

Why is it every time I start to send a message I have to log in again...didn't used to have to do that! Anyone else having this problem or does it just not like ME???

I'm doing really good this week...staying below points every day. I have 6 points banked for the week and don't plan to use them! I can tell I've lost a few pounds, too!!! I REALLY want to lose down to my size 14 pants by 2 weeks from tomorrow...incentive...that's exactly what I needed!!! I had lost the sense of urgency! Only lost a couple of pounds since January. When hubby said we were going to Michigan I pushed the panic button! When we get back I just have to keep thinking...only 2 more months and I'll be headed for NC and all my relatives...gotta lose a few more pounds before then! Of course, two months is a lot longer than 2 weeks...I work better with short term goals. If I don't keep a goal right in front of me at all times I'll slip up and binge. Anybody else have that problem???

Speaking of goals...I was looking at weight watchers weight chart. I couldn't believe that the range for me (5' 9") is anywhere from 135 to 169. That seems like a very wide range to me. At 169 I wear a size 14 but at 135 I would be in an 8.

Hey Meme-my goal weight used to be 121 and now it's 128 at 5 feet and 6 years old. But I do wear 8-10 petite. I have lots of rolls!!!But WW says it's ok. Boy did it rain yesterday. We had a Mary Kay lady come to let us try makeup and I bought some. It was fun and we went to the mall last night. Suzanne is leaving today .It's been good-she was gone yesterday with my daughterin law-they have fun so that's good. I am way too controlling with her. Bye for now. Mima

Default Good Morning

Gee whiz, I am living in a deep freeze. This morning at 8:00 a.m. it is 38 below zero. Now that is a TAD cold. I had to get up this morning and drive my husband to work. He left his car at work, as it needs to be plugged in or it would never start. We only have a single car garage here, and it is heated. It is very nice to go get in the car and have it be 20 above inside; however, with the degree change of 58 degrees, it starts to frost up fast. It doesn't take long though before the heat kicks in. In this part of the country, we have to plug our cars in or they just freeze.

I am happy this morning, as I did get on the scale yesterday morning (I don't usually weigh myself) and I had lost another 2 pounds so I was very, very happy. I put my pants on and they felt so loose, that is why I did it.

Meme - I guess we probably all have a goal, BUT unless I REALLY want to do it just for me, I can lose sight of the goal easily.

Candice, please watch that cat bite. They can be dangerous. To bad it was the finger

Mima - I am glad you and your daughter had a good visit. It won't be long and you will be on your way home. Time has a way of going way to fast.

Ally - I REALLY want some Blue Stuff. I guess I will have to break down and order it off the net one of these days.

I went for a massage and a chiro treatment yesterday. Today, I am hurting like crazy. I need to find a more experienced person for the massages. I guess I will go back to this fellow that I went to a few years ago. I didn't let her do my arm this time. Last week she did my arm, and my elbow and by Saturday, I was so sore and my elbow was black and blue. I think it still needs to heal some more.

I have a new recipe for Oatmeal/apple muffins at 2 pts. I will post it later on a new thread.

This is cute.

Default Hi

Hello Everybody- I am being lazy today...Really ,I hurt so many places that I can't be much else. I think this arthritis just moves around to keep me out of touch. I can't take too much for it and lately the over the counter stuff is useless. The weather here has been beautiful today. In the 70's and should be warmer tomorrow. ...I hope it gets better for you Happy.
Meme you seem to be getting to your goal. I need things to reach for too. Today has been the chip bags. It is like if I eat I will feel better. Bad idea!!
Mima- Just a few more days!!
Candice- How in the world did you manage to let the cat bite your finger? He would have been out in the cold here.
Hey Ally..How are you?
Got to go.. My right shoulder hurts to my fingers. Going to put the heating pad on it...Bye...Joanne

Hi Guys.....it is 70 degrees here in NY. Happy, I hope it warms up for you. I think we only get a day of this. I shouldn't even be inside but am taking a break. I was so sick last weekend, that I don't want to waste a minute of this nice weather. The bad part is that my appetite is back. I went to McDonalds drive-thru but walked a few miles with the dog so hope it evens out.
Meme...I am just fitting into some of my old 14s. I wish I had your height. I used to be 5'7" but I swear I lost an inch somewhere.

Default Good morning

Hi-up at 5-my neighbors are taking me to church today. Happy Birthday, Joanne. You are only a day older than yesterday. It's so beautiful finally. went to the movies to see Time Machine with Alison. Scary!!Swim today. B-4. 4 sleeps. Brad and I talked about the kitchen -where to put things etc.-we started to disagree and we both backed down. How long will that last? Some things are not worth arguing over. Doing good with the weight because of walking!!!!Bye for now Mima

Default Hi

Candice- Your poor cat was probably scared. You get the winter storms and we get it in the summer. We get a lot of lighting storms here.
Thanks for the thought Mima. We went to church this morning and my son is cooking dinner for us. He is a pretty good cook. Just simple food. I have heard from all of my family almost. My G/son is in the navy and he sent me a e-mail from the ship..You are right just a day older and I don't feel any different.
Hello Meme,Happy.. Hope youe week end is going well.
Ally- I have to get brave and go through Mcdonalds too.I have been wanting a good hamburger for a long time..I think it has been about 3 years. Life gets stale if we don't do something sometimes. I told my son to let's have pizza for supper instead of cooking...He said too much fat and cheese...
Bye..Joanne:sheep:
