  • Thanks, MPS, just plugging along here..... No WI this week I have to work on Saturday, and I won't do WI after work. So, I wait. The 250s are taking forever.

    Well my diabetic friend called today and dropped out on me. I did what I thought was right and I wish her the best with her decision.

    I was at a local resturant for a lunch meeting. After browsing the menu I asked the waiter if they had anything low carb or Paleo. The waiter quipped back, "Sir you are in the wrong place."

She always brought her own food; heaven forbid if she ate some of ours. Then one weekend on the way back from a day at the beach in Michigan we went into a restaurant. As I mumbled under my breath, “Geese just order the (bad word goes here) salad as is” and stop with the demands and the questions of what is this cooked in blah blah blah…)
    That is crazy eh? They don't seem to market IP at all!! I only found it by fluke in my son's Drs office. Thank God for that! You can't turn around without seeing a WW ad somewhere or Oprah proclaiming the next best diet. I think it is just a matter of time, IP is just too good!

  • Week 6 WI today: -3! If I can get a decent swoosh this week I might make it in to Onderland next WI.

    Wow! Great job! You're 2 1/2 weeks and 33 pounds ahead of me.

  • After a 0 on last weeks WI my scales show me down 6.5lbs in 3 days! Big drops like this freak me out a tad. Not sure why, but watching me melt in the mirror can be a bit odd. Now that I am about 60% of goal I am curious where the rest of this fat is? Not sure where I am hiding 21 mores lbs.
    Some things are better not questioning...

  • Just bought a waffle iron and used the ip pudding waffle recipe. It was great! I finally have a use for all this pudding I have in my pantry. I couldn't stand that stuff when I first got it.

    I'm going to try the crispy cereal pancake recipe in the waffle maker for my next meal.

    me and the wife started this together 8 days ago...I've lost 11 pnds and 2 inches, my wife has lost 3.5 pnds and 3 inches...
    feel better than I have ever felt...hardest thing for me was I used to drink at least 12 diet cokes a day

    I agree on the first 3 days. Share what's going on, the good the bad and the ugly. You will find lots of support on here. I look forward too keeping track of your progress.
