    I dropped the kids off with Gram and Gramps a few hours ago. Had a nice quiet afternoon and was looking forward to an evening COMPLETELY alone. Then Dh called to tell me he is on his way home. Sigh. Is it bad that I wish he wasn't coming until tomorrow? I haven't been alone for 24 hours in YEARS.

    HAve to agree with the advice you've gotten so far. Intense (heart rate up high enough) cardio and resistance training. Pilates. I obviously haven't lost a huge amount of weight in 6 months (40 lbs), but I've lost soooo many inches and have gone from a 22W to a 16W.

    I went to Norway last year with my Mom and a friend. That was the closest to "alone" I've been in years! It was so nice and peaceful!

  • Whew, just got back from my evening wog - it was awesome! So much less humidity than Tuesday when I went last. I checked out our route on gmap-pedometer.com since we took a totally different one than we had before, turns out we were gone for 2.7 miles... getting close to that 5k mark! It's really just a matter of choosing a route that takes us that far, since I in theory could have done another 0.4 miles...

    Woohoo for wogging!
