I stick by his information in general. His explanation on Olive oil is very reasonable.
I am curious of the argument against coconut primarily with IP.
I am not afraid of fats either.
Coconut oil has 1 drawback -- don't get too much in a dose. It great laxative that way. For a ketogenic diet plan coconut should be a no brainer by every measure. It heat stable at high temps, doesn't oxidize, converts to ketones easily (great for helping in ketosis), Can clear keto brain fog. using refined it liquid at room temperature.
We also use grass fed butters but it not much.
I figure the fat fear with IP is part of the dietary cholesterol debate that has been known in many circles as false for decades but just know is getting mainstream despite the major organizations not changing their stance.
the other problem is excess use of fats are calorie dense and would throw off calories pretty fast.
