Wow,
I think my body is telling me that I've been eating badly this weekend. I feel so sluggish today. I felt much better earlier this week when I was eating on plan. Tomorrow will be a get back on the program day.

Big Dog..
Relative your talk about the peanuts.. This diet does teach discipline.. I now can have a few nuts, but in old days, forget it.. However nuts I can't eat all the time, even small amts, as they put the weight on, so only use them when I make the baked oatmeal.

I guess I will order directly from Walden Farms, as today I went to more stores and all I could see was salad dressings and one place had the marshmallow dip.. I will wait to see if anyone come forward with reports on the products before I order. I definately will order the barbecue sauce and try that.

Hi Ladies!!

Ok...I order all of my Walden Farm products from Netrition.com. It is $4.95 flat rate shipping regardless of volume...and items are cheaper than anywhere else I have seen (ie: BBQ sauces etc...are $3.79) This site has so many products...syrups, dips, dressings, sauces, and the fruitspreads are great on toast!!

As far as the dressings...a new "Chipotle Ranch" flavor and "Sesame Ginger" I thought were yummy. I haven't tried their Mayo..but they have a chipotle flavored mayo now, too. May be good!

Hope I caught you with this information before you ordered from somewhere more expensive!!!

Walden farms: I loved the BBQ sauce (and I'm super picky about my BBQ sauces). Sadly I ran out. I also liked the ketchup (my parents happened to have some). I did not like the Bacon Dressing. The Raspberry Vinagarette I've gotten used to. The BBQ sauce & Ketchup my parents found at HyVee (we don't have them around here). they have 3 of those stores near them and only one of them carries the BBQ & Ketchup. I may have to ask our small grocer that carries the dressings.

bigdog-I ended up having a little no sugar added chocolate frozen yogurt (I get yogurt on my plan...not supposed to be of that variety). Kept it to the same # of cals as my normal Greek yogurt (on metabalance it isn't about the ratios of carbs and fat)...it was fabulous. But I was also thinking about what I used to get at that place...a scoop of PB Chocolate ice cream (600 calories for that one "big" scoop)...and I totally didn't miss it. It would be the #1 thing I would have for my "last meal"

Feeling much better today. did some shopping and...I fit into 10's. (I've always been 14/16). I happened to just grab some 10's to see how close I was...and they totally fit. Not tight fit. Like really fit. I didn't buy them as I still have 10 lbs to go. I did get a cute swimsuit coverup that will still look good 10lbs from now.

Saw the 150's today. (okay, so when I got up it said 160.0, but post-workout it was 159.2). Just 9ish pounds to go. I'm really quite happy where I am, but I'm not minding the metabalance plan so going to stick with it for another month with my exercise and see where I end up. I'm also going to TRY to wait to weigh until next Monday. With my heavy weight lifting I see more fluctuations in the scale during the week, but after my "rest" days on the weekend, I even out. So I just need to keep a consistent day...the fluctuations used to not bother me, but they've started to.

If you fell off the wagon this weekend, jump back on! Make your next choice a good one. Have any of you read the blog "can you stay for dinner?" It's amazing (the writer has lost 135 lbs and maintained if for 5 years and has a great outlook on food, fitness (she just walks) and maintenance. She was talking about when she was losing the weight and would feel like she couldn't do it for the rest of her life, but would ask "can you do it for this meal? For today can you make the right choices"...and one day at a time she got there. I had to ask myself the same questions this weekend when I was going through my "I just want some kind of crazy, unashamed splurge" feelings this weekend. I asked "is it really going to kill you to just eat the fish and veggies and be okay?" Nope. I could do it for that day. And so glad I did.

Good outlook, Gina. I really appreciate it your motivation. I did okay this weekend (yellow menu) but had a few bites of my girls' chicken noodles last night... I know, not ideal. But I'm going to ask myself next time if it would kill me to not taste the off-plan food... you're right. It won't.

Have a great Monday!

rachel-yes, it is so much better than thinking about it instance by instance. If you think "I'm never going to be able to eat noodles again" of course you are going to give in to a bite! If you think "can I live without this until tomorrow" your tomorrows add up until we hit maintenance...and then adopt of a new mindset of healthy choices mixed in with some PLANNED treats.

Good morning everyone. You're right Gina, one meal at a time! I really, really need to keep this in mind.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm glad it's Monday. Weekends are harder for me, foodwise. I've been getting a little sloppy lately with my eating and I'm giving myself a kick in the buttocks starting today! I measured my cereal this morning and I'm going to make sure that just for today I stay strictly on my plan. Then I'll do it all over again tomorrow!

Have a great day ladies!

Congrats on hitting the 150s, Gina!!! I'll definitely check that blog out. I've said it before, I'll say it again. This is so much more of a mental game than physical. I love your examples. I will have to keep those questions in mind the next time I'm feeling a moment of weakness.

I thought I would share this with you.. One of the gals at the center has reached her goal, and what an achievement.. She went from a size 20 dress to a size 10, and looks fabulous.. So those of you that are in a funk, remember if you work the program it works for you and it is worth it, it really is.. I rembember her when she was a size 20, and to see her now is amazing.. She weighed 263 pounds when she started . Not sure what her goal weight is. She did not offer it, so did not ask.. She was just so happy.

Weighed in at lunch and maintained since last Thursday. Doesn't surprise me considering I'm PMSing. I've learned over the years I gain 4 pounds around TTOM, so I'm happy about this. I've joked with the counselors that I'm gonna do great on maintenance since I've been "stuck" for a while.

Gina -

Just checked out the "What's For Dinner" blog... very good read. Enjoyed her outlook on food and weight loss and can't wait to try some of those recipes when I'm on maintenance! Thanks!

Congratulations to everyone on the weight loss!

Hi Patzi,
Last week, a counselor at the center said that a new cookbook was coming out "very soon" so I don't know if this is the "new program" or just part of it.
