Hi Rebooters! I am back for a small reboot. I have found that about 2-3x per year if I do a mini reboot (lasting roughly 2-3 weeks) it helps keep me in line. I have been doing well, my weight is ok, not terrible, not great (140.4). But I am little bit over my comfort zone (135) so now is the perfect time to reboot.
For the past 2.5 months, things have been a bit crazy for me between work travel, company and personal travel. I have been able to keep my weight fairly close to my goal, but overall I just don't feel the same. Then a few weeks ago, I got a sinus infection and was on antibiotics, which I have now been off of for 1 week. So between all of that, I am just feeling kind of big and bloated and all around "fluffy". We don't have anything on the radar for the rest of July, which makes it the perfect time for a reboot. My goal is to get to about 133-134 so I have a couple of "grace" pounds for when the carbs come back into play.
I am very much looking forward to that "hollowed out" feeling you get on P1, although I am not looking forward to the carb detox! Today is Day 1 of my reboot, which I will be using alternatives for (Quest). By Wednesday, I should be through the worst of it, but Mon & Tues are sure to be h*ll.
Everyone seems to be doing really well on their reboots, which is great news! It's not dieting that is the hard part, but the maintaining. I wish I would have known that a long time ago.
