I'd be way more whiny than you- I don't handle that kind of pain very well! You're handling it like a champ.
Hopefully once I find out what's going with my knee (dr appt tomorrow with xray results if any), I'll be able to get my mind right and get the weight loss ball rolling again approx. a few days after TOM and water weight dissipates. I do have to say I am proud of myself for holding steady during the summer because that's when I'd go off track and just come back to the fall with a 5-10lb gain then try to lose again for Halloween, lol.
