  • Argh. 188 again this morning. I'm stubborn enough to stick with this thread, but I'm maintaining.
  • 180.3

Getting a wee bit tired of this now.
  • 187
  • Well done, Uber! Given how hard you had to push to get into 180land, I think you're travelling through it quickly!

    Called back by immigration.

No worries, this is how it always goes, a whoosh followed by a slight rollback.

    Creeping back.

And again. 180.3. Sigh upon sigh.

My Plan is to eat 1400 calories and up to 110g carbs.
Over the past week I've averaged 1324 calories and 100g carbs. (Although just over the 1400 the last 2 days).
Do you think it's worth eating more calories? I suppose 1300 is pretty low.

My exercise is walking, usually 60-90 minutes a day.

I drink 100 fl oz water a day, plus black teas and coffees. No sodas.

    Plod on.
  • Keep going, Rosinante!! You'll be there to stay in no time.
  • 187 again. But I'm not being super good with food. I need to tighten up a bit.
  • Bounced up to 188.5 and back down to 188.
  • 85.1 kg / 187.6 lb - hoping it's TOM retention and starting to drop.
This time last week was 85.0 but went up to 85.3 for most of this week.
  • 179.1

Bye, guys! You've been great company.

Don't get me wrong if I say, I hope not to be back!

    :waves:
  • See you later Rosinante!!!

Kinda lonely here and I'm STILL 188.
  • I know what you mean Ubergirl, well I'm here still also.
I got down to 187 Sat morning, but Sat evening had a really salty dinner at my sister's house. - gained 1 kg I presume it's fluid retention
Weighed in at 189 today (sunday)
  • Yeah. I've been eating WAY too much salt, but in my case, it's also too many calories and not enough working out.
  • ah you are doing really great though. I'm loosing so little per week... even from day one.
after 2 months at the gym - I shocked even the Personal Trainer - I"d put on 4 kg, my pulse had gone up 10 BPM, and my BP had gone up. Every one of my measurements were higher than my starting measurements. Since then - I've lost um about 3kg. which is 6lb about.
It's been 4 months since starting this weightloss attempt and I've lost a whole 3 kg. I have a pretty sensible diet, it's not too hard core so I can maintain for long time... but there's no added sugar, no carbs at night, low gi carbs when I have them...breakfast and lunch.
So this fluid retention had better be released soon, else I've got to see doctor and see what he says - might have to go on Metformin.
  • Hi folks, I posted on another thread that the 180s seem to have kicked my butt so I am jumping in here!
