Kathy - I didn't mean that becuz my learning/eating period was the same with you, just thought I'd share that. I do remember after that summer of riding and eating, we went to a wedding in Texas. Well I had purchased the dress in May (right before riding/eating period) when DH was gonna unzip my dress he ask it I had a can opener.....I guess he noticed I gained weight too.....lol

Everything is going ok here...not much to report. Having some tension at work with ex-bestfriiend/dh's ex-wife, but we are talking and joking. Just an odd situation. Typical of me to get into those situations, too!

My weight feels on the upside lately, but I am really trying to do better.

Holly- Your rides sound like so much fun. Laconia would be awesome! Glad that the arm exercises are working for you girls, it gives me hope!

I'm at work - can we say BORED?
I'm thinking of what I'm gonna do to celebrate when I reach goal. I'm thinking having a big party and inviting everyone that has known me during this (never-ending) journey. You know, when you go to lunch with someone, you order 'Grilled Chichen Salad.' Then they say "you were on a diet last year when we went to lunch" Then I think, well yeah - I'm not really a quick dieter, it takes time.....lol
I got a good one......I was putting on a pair of Body By Victoria undies yesterday. Well they must be kinda old, becuz I noticed what looked like little hairs coming out of the leg hole?????? I guess it was the spandex fraying (plus it was beige color) something BUT it really did look like hair (from you know where).....rotf......
Now can you tell I'm bored??????

I think a party for yourself is a perfect idea to celebrate reaching goal. How long do you think it'll take you to get there? I think when I reach goal I'm going to buy some hot leather pants... woo hooooo hot momma!

My boss is in town today I really don't like him and I'll be quiting this stupid job in a few weeks anyway so having him here sucks. But the good news is I only have to work for a few more hours and I get to go home, yeah! Actually, I'm going to take my last test to be licensed to sell insurance. I'm sure I'll pass *crossing fingers* then I'm one step closer to my new career!

Yes, I would say it's time for the panties by victoria to hit the trash. I have many pairs but that style is my fav and hate to throw them out But now that you mention it, I'm not taking a chance of getting bitten .....

I have black leather pants and they are almost too big for me now.....I have gone from them being so tight I had to be poured into them, to being downright baggy That would be a good incentive to get to goal and actually here in MI I get alot of wear out of them.....and DH loves black leather

About me getting to goal - well that is a great question And my answer is I'm 15 pounds away, I'll be going on vacation July 1-8th, then back to being POP (perfect on plan), did I mention I'm on LA Weight Loss? Then my weight loss weeks are up on August 28, so by then I should be there. In the past my problem has been, what I like to call, 'life happens events' (birthdays, weddings, family celebrations, work stuff, etc). I've just got to bite the bullet and say "NO" - cuz I need to get to goal.

Leather pants - mine also used to be almost sausage-tight but with weight loss and natural leather stretching, they are too loose in the waist, and the legs fit well. But if I cinch the waist with a (studded ) belt, then they get that crunched paper bag- look waist I was with 3 riders a week or so ago, and one loved chaps ("crotchless leather pants, what man wouldn't like THAT?") and another asked why I wasn't wearing my leather pants, 'cause he thought they were better. Boy, you can't please everyone, eh? The third friend, when I asked him what HE liked, diplomatically said "cookies!" (I had brought them homemade cookies )

Hi gals!

I tried to post earlier but I had some work geeks walk in when I was writing and I had to abort the post! I have a severe case of short-timers disease and I can't wait until I can say see-ya to my crappy boss. I talked to the insurance company that I'll be working with today and as long as I pass my background check - no problems there - I'll be going to training in August. I can't wait!!

I was a good girl today and ate well, then after work I went to the track and did a 2 mile walk/jog. This extra 50 lbs is killing me. I used to be able to run for an hour at a time with no problems, now 1/4 way around the track leaves me quite winded. I know in time it'll get better though.

I'm really looking forward to the weekend. Hubby and I are going to go dirt riding again, and I'm going to get the Ninja out too. Do you guys ride your bikes when time allows, or do you commute with them?

I stayed home with a sore back today and that means Andrea can play on the computer today. YIPPEE!!!!!

My diet went downhill this weekend, but it really tends to. I have decided that maybe instead of seeing the big picture of weightloss, I need to only have a 5 pound a month goal. Maybe it will put less stress on me. Plus, we went to the grocery store and I stocked up on lots of healthier foods for the next 2 weeks. I weighed myself last week and I'm only up about 3 pounds...which considering some of my weekends I think thats pretty good.

Trina- Hope your weekend at the lake was fun and that dh had a great Father's Day. Kathy's right...get some new undies girl! Something super sexy! When I get to goal weight that's what I'm going to do. Everytime I look for bras or panties dh always chooses the lacy, sexy things. Gag me with a spoon!! With my fat @ss, the thong would be lost for eternity.

Kathy- I hope you had a good weekend dirt riding. That sounds like a lot of fun. I haven't rode my rebel for ages, but I do need to get her out and do some more practicing. Maybe this evening. To answer your question about commuting...Dh works 30 minutes from where we live and if it isn't raining he rides. On the weekends and evenings we do a lot of riding around town.

Holly- Are you still enjoying the summer job? Was this weekend Laconia? Hope you had a great time if so...even in your loose leather pants!

Well my weekend was just as bad as yours. I thought I was doing okay, I also knew I wans't Perfect on Plan, but for a human I thought I was doing okay. Well I missed alot of my water and some veggies and fruit. All in all, I did awful and gained 1 1/2 pounds. It could have been the nuts DH bought for the ride home. The one's that I wasn't gonna even look at let alone eat.......whatever.

Sometimes this weight struggle just seems like way too much work, I'm sure it is not suppose to be this hard,, now how did this get so screwed up?

I hear ya Trina. Why does it have to be so hard and we work our butts off for little losses...then we mess up a few days and we gain? I get so frustrated, but in reality when I am eating better and taking care of myself I really feel good. I need to hang on to that feeling.
