Even if accurate - the amount would be so minor it would be fairly irrelevant.
If you have read everything than I assume you're read Eat Stop Eat. I haven't read it but I understand Pilon references studies which show no loss of muscle at the 24 hour mark.
Goodluck with your forum. I think IF is going to be real big in the future.
After 12-16 hours of fasting (1) Liver Glycogen is depleted at which point the brains requirement for glucose must be met by the glycerol portion of triglycerides and glycogenesis of your bodys protien. The glycerol accounts for about 20 grams per day. The remaining 80 grams comes from glycogenesis.(2,3) It takes roughly 2 grams of protien for the liver to produce 1 gram of glucose.(1) If you do the math that comes out to about 7 grams of protien per hour. For the last 4 hours of a 20 hour fast 28 grams. Doesnt seem too much except keep in mind that a pound of muscle on your body has water and other things included so its actually made up of 120 grams of protien. Every 5 days you break down 1 lb of muscle.
Now all that said you body will fight back When you have your first meal with adequate protein your body will rebuild some of that.
