1269 calories and 12.67 carb serv. Yes when I say carbs Rie, I mean carb servings ..15 gms carb gms = one serv. Sometimes I forget to say serving.
About my bs it's strange. Sometimes I eat 4 carb serv at a meal and my bs is high 2 hrs after, but then sometimes it's not. Usually I tend to overeat in the evening and in the am I am almost always high. This morning it was 190. But after breakfast and work out it was almost normal and today I ate right (no more than 3 serv each meal) and it was normal the next time I took it. ( Usually I only test once a day since my A1Cs aren't bad and that's all Medicare pays for supplies but sometimes if it's hig I test more) So I think the diabetic meal plan they gave me is probably about right. They said I should stick to 9 or 10 to lose weight and 12 to maintain. I figure it's calories that matter with weight loss and since I seem to do ok with 12 carb serv I aim for that. Howver I have to admit when I was on the Medifast diet I was only getting 8-10 most days and my bs were really nice and low! Normal normal not just diabetic normal as they sometimes are on 12. So I surmise from that that I could "reverse" my diabetes and it's affects on my body if i stayed below 12 regularly. But I just can't seem to do it on regular foods. On MF I didn't get hungry.

Now I do. Oh and I also subtract 1/2 the fiber if it's over 5. Right now I'm mainly working on getting my evening eating under control. If I can do that I'm sure it will really help. Next I'll work at cutting down on the carbs more if I can. I'm not too concerned yet unless my A1C gets highter. The doctor said it will since I've gained back my weight but I'm hoping to prove him wrong.
ETA: Good news! LOL I forgot I didn't eat rice tonight after posting it and so I actually did better than I thought...I had 1239 calories and 12 carb servings! Yea!
