Calories for today~ 1446
Fiber~ 42 grams

I've slacked off on my walks the last two days. Oh well, hopefully I get more motivation for next week. I really hope I can lose that 1lb to make it to my birthday goal! Regardless, my goal next week, is to not gain. I'm not going to go too crazy, but I may splurge a bit seeing it'll be my birthday week. Plus there is the holiday to contend with and some friends are taking me out tomorrow as an early b-day dinner. We're going out for sushi tomorrow night and then for Italian on my actual birthday. I've been dreaming of sushi all week! Yum!

Lovin' all these marriage stories.

I don't know what is going on with me...I've been cooking my superfoods dishes and getting a little snacky with the leftovers. I'm sure my total cals were over 2000 the last couple days. And my weight just dropped a few pounds and I am 161.6, almost hitting my short goal. Yay!

welcome Minty fresh! good job getting your exercise. I highly recommend checking for a TOPS group in your area. They are a non-profit weight loss support group and they have really motivated me to keep on track.

Happy Friday everyone!!! I'm so so glad this week is at it's end! LOL

Well I ate more than expected yesterday, DF and I had Mexican, but I ordered Fajitas, so that it was easier for me to count. LOL!

Minty Fresh- Hi there Wonderful job on getting your exercise in...sometimes it hard to get motivated to start, but the feeling afterwards is so nice! We're here to support you all the way!!! DF and I knew eachother were the one since the beggining of us dating. It just all clicked! Don't be a stranger around here!

Zenor-Mmmmmhhmmm yummy Sushi! That is my weakness, that and Italian and Mexican. LOL What food don't I love? You'll do fine even if you'll be maintaining! Wow, your birthday is just around the corner! Anything you've been wanting in particular this year? LOL I asked DF what he wanted for his 30th, he said to not gain a spare tire....

Well have a great one everyone!!

Hello everyone-
I see that everyone has been doing pretty good. The marriage stories are funny. I met my husband in Sept. Had a promise ring in Oct. A engagment ring in December that was all in 1996. We didn't get married until August of 2000 though.

I have been doing ok....We have ice cream in the house again so I am trying to resist that and have the kids eat it, we only have a little bit left thank god!! I need to start moving more though. Lately I have been so tired. I think it is because I am taking that Chantix. Tomorrow I should be moving around alot I have a ton of laundry to do!!! Well I should get back to work........Lara are you out there???? Where have you gone to???

Mary

Being the wine nut that I am I asked for a bottle of 1977 vintage port. Since we are going to be moving (wish I knew where) we decided not to buy it until after we move. Which is fine with me. Port is more of a winter beverage because it's some what heavy. Other than that I just want my friends to remember a call me. Being after a major "party" holiday, people tend to forget (including my sister!) All three of my best friends are out of state for the summer, so they all get to miss my birthday. I understand, but it still sucks... so they better remember to call!

On a happier note~ Minty fresh

I haven't been around in awhile. I've been kinda busy. And I had a BAD day. I binged - bad. I had ice cream, 2 hamburgers, a cheese quesadilla, fries, chips, etc. All b/c of this huge party my mom had with her organization. I was so sure I wouldn't binge, and then I got there and all the food looked too good to pass up. I didn't eat it all at once, it was over a period of like 8 hours! I'm serious, we just got home, one of the most biggest parties I've ever been too!

I didn't take my Alli capsule for fear of treatment effects. And I'm scared to start taking it tomorrow, but I will.

Anyway, I'm going to go get an early night. I'm exhausted from talking, believe it or not. I'll catch up on posts later.

Bye!

Charlene, so you've had a "binge" day. Don't let it ruin what success you already have! Tomorrow will be a new day to start over

Great day again today.

We went out for dinner to this local sports bar where in the past I would have hamburgers and fries or steak and loaded baked potato. Guess what I had tonight? Lemon Pepper catfish with about 1/2 cup of spanish rice and a salad with just a very little bit of Thousand Island dressing (usually I would douse the whole salad with it). And it was really good!!

Charlene, just start fresh. Its always tough the next day because you'll be hungrier. you can do it!

Minty fresh, good for you! 11 pounds, that's great!

We did some grocery shopping tonight. We are getting so much better about getting groceries on time and not going out to eat. I had a big slice of Costco pizza (760 cals!) but fit it in to my allowance. mmm!

Stay good this weekend everyone!!!

Good Evening I hope everyone had a great Friday!

Charlene- Hey hun, please don't beat yourself over the binge. It happens to all of us. Tomorrow is a new day. Though from experience drink lots of water to flush out the sodium.

Minty Fresh- That dinner sounded delish! I haven't had fish in a while, I got a bit tired of salmon. LOL

CoolMom- Yeah that Costco pizza can break ya at times. LOL It's so darn good though. But I'm glad that it fit in your budget, by the time I want pizza, my calorie allowance doesn't allow me to do it.

Well my calories tonight are around 1600

I had California Rolls (brown rice version) with home made miso soup. Yummy. Zenor you made me crave sushi too! LOL

GrammyL- WHERE ARE YOU?

Calories for today~ 2043
Fiber~ 31 grams (probably a bit higher~I couldn't find fiber totals for everything)

Well, the new sushi place we went to was amazing! So yummy, but I'm SOOOO full. I don't think I've eaten that much in months and months. So, one birthday dinner down and one more to go (on my actual birthday.) My calories are really high today, but I'll just be extra good the rest of the weekend. I hope everyone is having a great start to the weekend!

Hi Girls,
It has been a few days. sorry, I see every one is doing well.
I have been kind of busy lately. It seems to be all I can do to keep up with the calorie counting. Yes, I am. Any way today is family day. with the granddaughter, etc. And I have a CPR class at noon. At Curves. They were having a class for the women that work there, had two other openings. And I jumped on the chance.
With a dgd that has the c.p. I thought it might be a good thing to do.
I also have been keeping up with going to curves. I had my monthly weigh in. Not as good as most months. Its been a slow one.
My total monthy weight loss is only 4.5 pounds.
They did show me my list since March 1st.
On the Curves scale I am down 22 pounds.
They said my total inches lost was over 17 inches!
I don't put much into their measuring methods. Seems like I can loose inches, one month. but My measurements will go up the next month, lots. They just measure so different from each other.

and my body fat was 45.5
Now its 41.2
I think that the body fat is a better indication than the measuring methods of Curves employees
So even though I feel like its been way to slow coming off this month...I can at least see the long haul has been good.

My calories for the friday, 1537
fiber: 45gr.
water:12 glasses.
Alright, I have a bunch of things to do before my class, back later.

have a great day everyone,
congrats on the losses, and welcome newbies. got to get off now.

Hi,

I've decided to start REALLY watching my eating, and have decided to try calorie counting. Could someone tell me how to get to fitday? My google won't take me there directly!

Breakfast = 300cal [using package nutrition info].....

thanks, Cuppa

I just needed to show off my new ticker. I was so excited when I got on the scale this morning! Calorie counting is the first thing that has ever worked for me. Go figure! The most simple and time-tested way to lose weight actually works!
