Amelia - I'm still thinking about getting that skirt. It was nice... it's just hard to justify spending $40 on a skirt that's only good for casual wear. I can spend that on work clothes but for some reason for casual clothes, I'm much thriftier!
Susie - time with my horse is really my way to relax. That and bad TV! Even when he's a pistol, I relish the challenge and I relax. Ann Taylor is great for work clothes, and AT Loft is good for the more casual stuff - I try very hard not to pay full price for it, though - we have two great AT outlets here in Vegas, and I am a frequent visitor!
Lori - sorry to hear your breathing is still rough. You'd be miserable here today - we are having sustained winds of 30-40mph and gusts up to 70mph. It is HOWLING. Luckily it didn't start til about noon so I got my horse ride in before the weather went completely crazy.
Me - well, I just did the grocery shopping for the week and was wondering how on earth I can spend $65 on just me (as DH is in CA for school). But I realized - I bought almost all fresh food (the processed stuff is canned veggies and beans), I stocked up on canned stuff as it was on sale, I bought coffee which will last three months, and extra virgin olive oil, which will last a couple of months. So it's not like one week of food is $65... oh, and I eat out maybe one meal every two weeks. No Starbucks, no lunches out... so I figured it wasn't actually that bad. Under $10 a day for healthy, tasty food. And now I am watching X-Men Origins - Wolverine, and can I just say Hugh Jackman without clothing is a wonderful sight!
