  • Morning ladies!

    I'm feeling SOOOO much better than yesterday. I guess I had some level of food poisoning, not the stomach flu as I originally thought. I stopped having GI issues yesterday afternoon. I didn't think I ate much, but apparently I ate within my calorie range, so I'm happy about that. Means that I won't gain unnecessary poundage by being drastically under calories and then eating normally. Cool.

    Yesterday's confessions

    Breffix - 4 slices of whole wheat toast with butter scraped on them (500 cals)

    Lunch - 3 slices of CPK frozen pizza (375 cals)

    Snack - 2 burfis, 1 banana, 1 bag 100 cal popcorn (450 cals)

    Dinner - 1 cup cooked white rice, 1 cup chickpea curry (450 cals)

    Total for the day: 1775

    Haven't eaten yet today, so will get tonight's confessions in later on...

  • Hey Ladies!! So Yesterday was a complete right off for me!! lol Back at it today.. I am off of work.. cause I am still a lil off with the pain in my ear and hoping that the antibiotics are going to do the trick.. Dr. says i the pain persists ina week I will have to go back and get booked for a catscan but he doesn't think it is anything of that magnitue just wanted me to take it seriously if the pain did not go away in my ear/head...
    On a much brighter note.. now that t.o.m is gearing down I have dropped again and the scale says 209.8 this morning.. yay! So now it is time to get up and actually make something to eat...

  • Today was a crappy day. I'll categorize it as slip-ups.

    I'm still out of whole grain bread so I have to eat white rice for dinner. And I ate chocolate bread for snack -- which only results in an increase of appetite.

    My snack doesn't stop. I consumed a fried, battered cauliflower and a whole breast of chicken katsu -- as a snack. HOW DARE ME? O_O

    At dinner...I ate another fried, battered enoki mushroom, fried eel and chinese vegetables, and some tofu with seafoods.

    Totally a slip up.
  • Another pound overnight!??!? I can't believe this! It has to be water, TOM is on Sunday... I hope it's just that.

  • Wednesdays just must be cursed!!
    I did semi OK during the day...but at band practice I had 2 light beers...and then of course, b/c a)dont have much in the house right now that is on my plan and b) beer makes me get the munchies...and I know that but I still had 2!!...I came home and had a baked potato at 10 o'clock at night!!! ugh...
    damn!
    my Bro has an apple tree so tonight I'm going to go get a box...and live on apples until Sat when it's grocery day!!
    Thursday...so far...1 egg plus 1 egg white for breakfast, cereal with a pkt of stevia, and skim milk, and lots of water!!.
  • Today is the prep for the endoscopy and colonoscopy so no solid food only liquid mixed with nasty tasting medicine. I am not going to weigh myself for a few days, I am sure they will weigh me tomorrow at the doctor's office and that is okay but I am going to ignore the weight. I will weigh in again on Labor Day as I have a goal to weigh 235.

    Did some callanetics for about 10 minutes, just the warm up exercises. I ordered a book of the exercises and will keep doing what I remember from years and years ago when I used to do them.

  • Morning ladies!

    I was bad yesterday: 1. Overate at lunch (at work, which is rare for me)
    2. Had a huge salad for dinner, but then: 2 or 3 bowls of cereal, then an entire bag of microwave popcorn (lower fat kind but whole bag is about 360 cal), then 2 fiber 1 blueberry muffins.
    Then went to bed early due to my "food coma."

    I know I keep saying this, but TRULY goint to aim for a better day. Shouldn't be as stressed today...
  • Morning DogMom! Sorry to hear about your food coma. I hate it when that happens! That's why I have to avoid going over my carb ration for the day. It's definitely difficult to stick to plan when you are stressed. I've been there before - everything processed and totally bad for you just called to me during those times. I found that when I carried extra fruit or oatmeal bars, I wasn't as eager to attack the vending machine. I also carried change in only $20 bills because I knew if I had smaller change, I would go to the vending machine.

    Haven't eaten yet, so will check back in later.

    It's been a while since Echo's checked in. Hope she managed to get her comp fixed!

  • Hey there ladies.. hope all is well with all of you!... I have had a long couple of days.. yesterday I ended up eating way below my calories... like seriously only like 536 calories all day as I just wasn't feeling great.. so today i went over my daily alloted to kinda make up for such a huge dip yesterday... I am feeling much better.. so here goes.. my day...

    Breakfast -Slimfast Shake
    Morning Snack - 1 whole wheat bagel and small wildberry yogurt
    Lunch - Slimfast Shake
    Afternoon Snack - 14 wheat thins and a fruit to go
    Supper- chicken sandwich on toasted ancient grain bread, 1 glass of juice
    Evening Snack - 20 triscuits, 3tbsp. of shredded partly skimmed mozza cheese, 1 glass of juice and 1 nature valley chewy granola bar

    Daily Allotted Caloric Intake-1,200- 1,550
    Total Calories for today - 1,964

    I am trying to have one larger calorie day a week, while staying within my range the rest.. some days closer to 1,200 while others are closer to the 1,550... cycling I guess you would say..lol I just hope it keeps on working!! lol
    happening I am glad everything went back the way you wanted it too... lol t.o.m can be so frustrating..but I liek to see that bigger drop after its over..lol

    My colonoscopy and endoscopy went well today and thanks so much for all the well wishes. I get results in a week and I did not have any polyps! I ate heavy today but stayed on plan and tomorrow I can start back with the fresh veggies and fruit.
