Bbbrrrr -- it's July and the furnace just kicked on! Other than that, it's a gorgeous day out and since I hate the heat, I'd best not complain.
JollyGreenSteen19 -- Wow -- you've improved your pace by 2 minutes per mile! That's fantastic. And signing up for a race is a great incentive to keep doing the training. And the scale will budge. I spent almost 3 months in the 340s and have now dashed through the 330s. Does you body seem to need time to adjust to new weights and then it's ok with losing more? Maybe it's our set points decreasing?
Deamgyrl -- Welcome -- and Twoderville is definitely a place I want to visit with you. I'm hoping that by the end of this year I'll be there!
This whole walking normally stuff is just amazing to me -- obviously it's been a while since that occurred!

I started doing yoga and that has helped as well, but while I still have some of the pain from the arthritis, just being able to walk normally is a tremendous improvement in my quality of life. Now I need to build up some endurance. Off to the gym.
