today i weighed in at 316.4
yesterday was 313.6

i am so ready to say goodbye to that 3!!!!!

anyone else getting close and want to use this thread for encouragement or ranting or fits of joy??

I'm with you! Over the last few years, I've gotten close to 299 several times but haven't yet managed to get rid of the 3 and keep it gone...

Things are a little different this time, so I believe I can actually make it, though it's taking me longer than I hoped it would to get a good start. But yes, I was to get to 2-town and stay there a good long time....

Count me in! Everytime I get dangerously close to that range, I manage to screw it up. I'm determined this time. First goal, to break past 310 and maintain it!

Im in!! The day I had my son I was 333 last dr appt was 322. I go again on friday so we will see how much progress I have made! I am hoping that I have lost another 10. I am breastfeeding so I have just been concentrating on eating healthier. I am not cleared for any kind of exercise for 2 more weeks so I just have to be patient.

Good luck! We can do this. Maybe not as quickly as we would like but we can do this.

I DO!! I weigh myself once a month so I have a weigh-in on April 20th. But my last weight was 346... hope to be out of the 300's by the end of the summer

i stepped on the scale this morning and it was 298.4!! i was soooo excited!! keep pushing!! it feels awesome!!

I'm still about 35 lbs away but I'm hoping to be out of the 300s by the middle/end of the summer. I want it so bad.

Christina, thanks for the encouragement! The moment I speed past 300, you'll be seeing a post with nothing but !

Last night I decided to put together a fresh plan for breaking past my first hurdle of 310 lbs. This morning I weighed in at 313 lbs. I was down to 310 lbs last Friday, but a really stupid mistake led to a five-pound gain over the weekend. I've been working at coming down from 315 and moving past 310 since Saturday. Stupid hidden soy!!!!!!! (I'm very sensitive to it.)

So, the soy is not quite out of my system yet, and I feel my ovaries are getting restless. I'm not going to be very active for a few more days. So I'll concentrate on eating lots of veggies and clean, low-fat proteins. I'll drink plenty of water. I'll keep the sodium low and I'll take all my nutritional supplements. And I'll make sure to get adequate sleep and sunshine. If I can, I'll hit my treadmill for 20 min bursts throughout the day.

woohoo!!! we can totally do it..i did it once like in 2005, but then my life went downhill.
15 pounds to go...i hear ya, i can taste it too..
and i know this probably sounds so dumb, but i feel like once i hit the 200's that i can have a real shot at weight loss, this 300 crap feels so hopeless to me.

and christina!!!! that is awesome!!!!!!!
so what plan is everyone on?
i am doing IF with low carb and when i actually stick to it, i do really well losing weight, i was doing calorie counting but the 2nd month i only lost 2 or 3 pounds, very discouraging...especially at my weight!!

Repto...would you explain IF to me? Or lead me to where I can get a good explanation of it? This one's a new one on me.

I count calories and carbs. I'm very carb sensitive, so I have to keep a lid on the types of carbs I eat. I get most of my carbs from vegetables. I also eat very clean, hardly any processed food. That's due to the soy allergy. I keep calories under 1700. Somedays, I get calories down to 1400 and I lose weight. I seem to maintain at 1700. Super slow metabolism. I've suspected PCOS and underactive thyroid. I'm also type 2 diabetic and managing everything with diet and exercise. Plus nutritional supplements.

When I do everything right, I can lose a pound or two a week. I would be sooooooooo happy to hit 310 by Monday morning. Still 313 this morning.

I carb count. Wednesday I did a check of my weight not my actual recorded weight and I was at 331. So I am hoping that this weekend will be lower then that.
