Well, I'm thinking this every other day thing is about as good as I can do aside from the weekend so here goes!
KimL Gosh you're having a rough time, medically speaking, I sure hope things clear up for you soon! Hang in there!
FitGirlyGirl Your outside kitty family sounds precious! You're right, humans could learn a lot from animals, but after studying animal behavior after a while... even they can't get away from the occasional bad apple who doesn't do their part... the difference, I think, is that the animals don't hold a grudge! Also... CONGRATS on the 55 lbs lost... wow is that a huge accomplishment! You rock!
Gekster I guess the funk is going around... perhaps we could turn it into a dance move?
Nella You never know... you could get a sudden and unexpected whoosh of weight loss! Maybe turkey will prove to be the miracle weight loss food for you!
Sandye Holy cow, look at those pics!! You are skinnnnnny! You look fantastic and that's a gun show anyone would be jealous of! You have accomplished sooo much! Way to go! And your baby is adorable. He makes the cat lover inside me squeal with delight and run off to look for some yarn.
LaurenAOooo a new PS3, your SO is gonna be in heaven! I hope you had fun with the pampering!
MsP Wow, that IS excitement with your house! And you're so close to goal, resist those pre-TOM cravings! You can do it!
Tummy Somehow I made it all the way through the last 2 pages without having a personal for you, odd. I'm making one up for you because it just wouldn't be right if I didn't! Have a great day!
Well girls.... yesterday I had my first fall off the wagon. I don't really know what happened. I showed up to work and one of my students came running into my room with New Moon cookies and gave me one. I took it thinking I really wouldn't eat it, but when I tried it... it was so good that I just decided I'd eat it and forgo my midmorning snack. Then at lunch my salad dressing had gone bad and I had nothing else to eat and so I went down to the cafeteria and got the mashed potatoes and turkey with gravy they were serving. I didn't get the pumpkin pie or the stuffing or the roll, but it still was quite a bit more than I'd normally have eaten. And then... oh man
When I got home I tore through some chips we had laying around the house. It must be stress because yesterday was awful work-wise and I haven't done that in AGES. I made taco salads for dinner and that was fine but then I still ate ice cream afterwards (140 calories but still). It was like I couldn't stop eating. I haven't experienced this in so long it's completely taken me by surprise and made me so upset I don't even know how to move on. Obviously something triggered it, and it was likely stress but I'm one of those people who never recognizes stress and so I'm just wondering how the heck I'm going to stop this from happening in the future. Just awful. I'd come so far and done so well and then BLAMO.

I also spent a few hours at Goodwill yesterday, mostly looking for stuff for someone else, and found a couple cute pairs of 14s that I figured would fit properly in 2-3 weeks. I tried them on and they both fit fine, one is a normal 14 and the other is a 13/14 and neither are stretch. I then tried on the 14P that I had gotten to button a couple weeks back but were too tight for public and while they are still snug, I could wear them out now. That makes me officially a 14

14's baby! woohoo, that's awesome. You've been on a success roll this last little bit WTG! Crack into those 12's and you'll be there in no time.
so I guess no harm was done by skipping a workout!
