Hey, did you ever go to that restaurant in Alabama where they throw the rolls at you? Lamberts?
I am with you on the ADD culture, but worst case is that it does not work and you take her off and try something else. Best case is that it is just what she needs. If she were younger, I would question the MD's motive, but at 15, it may just be time to see if this helps.
My dad goes golfing in MS every year and they stop at Lambert's on the way home.

Not easy. I have had to do a variety of things.
For a while, I tried to get up early to walk, but Pooky was still nursing, so that went back and forth. I finally had to join the cheap gym and go right after dinner while DH was doing his nightly things with the kids. It was only three nights a week and weekends. (DH works two jobs and has a million other projects going.) I had to say, "We need to make this a priority, when can you watch the kids?" He said Monday, Wed and Th nights.
Can you join HPER as a spouse?
I had to accept and convince DH that I was not going to ever work out if I was home. I had to physically leave. And he had to understand that while all of his time suckers were important, my health was important too. I have no problem using guilt, "When I am dead and you are living alone in the retirement home, remember that you took minutes off my life because I did not get to exercise."
I also hired a neighbor to come for an hour two afternoons a week.
When the weather was warm, I used my walk to get Meara to sleep. I put her in the stroller about 15 minutes before I wanted her to sleep, then I let her fall asleep and I finished my three miles.
At least when it warms up in a few weeks, you will have a lovely city in which to walk.
I am having a weird hormone thing. I was expecting to ovulate this weekend, and everything seemed ready for that. All the signs were there. Then I woke up this morning with three of my very reliable PMS symptoms. Either I am going to have 10 days of PMS....fun for the whole family....or I am having peri-menopausal symptoms which just ticks me off.
