From what i found on the web they say just to caulk and make sure there are no gaps for them...well that is not going to happen on this old house. We do need to reside it and perhaps then it will be better. I got kind of sick vacuuming them up yesterday --kind of breathed them in too much i guess(they do stink!) And felt like i was having an asthma attack. They say some people can have a reaction and leave it to me to have it! I had this happen previous, but this one was bad. I even was having trouble sleeping last nite w/the feeling in my lungs. I hope i can cough it all out today. Got more sleep w/the time change at least. Tho i hate to "fall back" we are in the majority who does. Now it will be dark by 6 or 6:30 each night. Last night i was outside till very late. DH was helping his brother on some last minute winterizing on his remodeling of his house so we ate VERY LATE. I was grilling fish at 7! But we had pretty healthy food, baked spuds and broccoli and the mahi-mahi. These are the last of the package that i brought home from AZ. The Costco store sells them w/about 8 pieces in a bag and each fish is packed in a vacuum sealed pouch, so they keep great in the freezer! I can't wait to get back to shopping at Costco and Trader Joes down in the Mesa area! Not to mention being in warmth all winter long
I think we have to go out to this property today and haul some tools and such home from an old building that is there. (a homesteader built a log building on property that they just 'took'...that is how it was done in the early 1900's. You didn't worry about who owned it! --too bad it's beyond repair--it had been pretty neat in it's day)
~~MOOZ~~Good for you on just focusing to keep the good attitude. That does seem to work. Thanks for the updates on Paul. That is soooo neat that he got to see some of the spots that they filmed in the Trilogy movies. I loved the two so far. They say for the final one to bring tissues as you will cry alot! I didn't read all the books, so i don't really know how they will end this. I think i really only read the Hobbit which is before the Trilogy.
~~NITA~~ Do send us some pics when you can of the little one. I hope it is safer where the grandson in the Marines has to go! DH's nephew is still in Iraq! but they are giving a 10 day leave to them. I think in 3 or 4 wks he will get home, but then has to go right back! that will be very hard! He is just a reservist. I think Bush should get us out of there soon! It is a mess. I see all the protesting is building again. Impeach Bush signs and such.
Cat was right we should NOT have gone at all. I was against it also, but it seems only those in the highest power spots decide for us!
Well, i will get off my soapbox now and go and do some cleaning. Have a wonderful strong day all you great chicks~~
thinlizzie

But in the meantime i am grateful for the fact that i don't HAVE to get out and drive in it. On the news there was another accident due to the slippery roads. Each year people must re-learn how to drive in it( AKA slow down!) In the meantime the EMTs are kept busy.
day and stay in touch.
