When searching for a vehicle I did take a crate with me but it was those smaller collapsable crates and knowing Rebel like I do she would find a way out anyway...
I think I will try the trick you and Brummie suggest. Fortunately it wasn't so stinky. (How that happened I don't know! just luck I guess)
My problem with crates is it is hard to crate 2 or 3 standard poodles in the back of a sedan style car. I have thought of an SUV or something but, I just hate the gas consumption of them. The prius is not much better for crates because, although the seats fold down you don't really get enough height for a 27" + tall crate let alone 2 side by side. I have had to resort to car safety harnesses and tethers (for the latch system) to keep them secure. Unfortunately, that means what happens, happens in the car.

So, I had my first banana this morning...the first one since I started IP in April. For months, the smell of bananas, banana bread, banana pancakes has been making me drool like crazy. I thought I would enjoy it....but I feel gross after eating it - all I can taste, smell...feel even, is banana! bleh! I think I'll stick to the berries for breakfast for now!
I weighed this morning and have been holding steady at 136.2.
I start maintenace tomorrow...excited and nervous!
have a great day everyone!
Definitely trying the vinegar and baking soda trick! I will let you know how it goes.
Maybe just add 1/3 or 1/2 of a banana and some berries? I know the banana is really potent. I don't find I can tolerate the smell ever but, I am also allergic to them or something. I can never digest them and they make me really sick. I have found that when I am allergic to something, I am hyper aware of its smell.

My heart goes out to all the single mums in the world, they deserve props, because at least my husband comes home every few weeks
Hudson's birth mum is coming over for a visit today, I think her and Hudson are going to go to the splash park this afternoon which should make for a nice early bedtime for my little monkey.
I don't know if my mood is affecting my weight but I can't seem to catch a break in the weight loss department these days....
Anyway that's it for me - sorry for spewing all that out....like I said, lonely
Aww, Sweetie!

I am so sorry. You are definitely facing a bit of a challenge there. Are any other of your friends available to give you a short daytime break. Sometimes just being able to get a nap can make things feel a lot easier, especially if you are feeling tired from lack of sound sleep. I hope you can get Charlie night trained soon.
I think it is great the kind of open relationship you have with Hudson's birth mom. You were both very lucky to have found each other and Hudson is so lucky to have to people like you both in his life.
Yes, unfortunately the stress could slow you down some. It is natural. Keep trying to stay to the plan, it may not keep you losing fast but, you won't be gaining. You will see some steady slow losses but, that is ok. It fits with your life right now. Hopefully what the practitioner gave you will help. Drink plenty of soothing herbal teas. If you can find a 5 to 15 minute window to do a stretching, yoga, or meditating routine that you like use it to re-energize yourself. You will be amazed at how much just a 5 min break like that can help.
I am very sensitive to stress and I can't lose, actually stall and gain when it gets severe enough. Do what you can to keep yourself calm and centered. Don't worry about the weight. It will come off when you are ready. Just keep eating as you should.
