170's - Anyone else battling them?

  • Well I'm back... again I just keep falling off the wagon... like again and again- I just need to stop getting down on myself.

    At least this time I didn't gain any weight. I've got to get my head in this game and finish what I started!
    I need to lose this weight- like NEED to lose it once in for all. I find myself easily discouraged when I hit a wall and feel like I can't lose any more. I know I need to up my exercise and move my a**! I will do it, I will!
  • Staying in track this time! Went for an awesome run today- 5 and a half miles! Boom!! Super exciting- and my scale finally moved- 178- yippie yay!
  • Whoop whoop! 177 today- totally busted through that plateau!

    Is anyone else trying to get rid of these 170s???
  • I am still at 177- unbelieve in my opinion. I keep stepping on the scale and thinking there must have been some mistake- I'll see 180 or 179 again today, but no... Happily- no. I think it's that I've finally found my stride- my diet was the problem and lack of movement throughout the day. When you have a desk job it's VERY easy to sit on your rump all day! I just make myself get up and get moving.

  • 176 again today, but I know I'll be at 175 tomorrow- I'm working super hard now that I'm seeing movement and I want to keep seeing it go down!

    Hello everyone,

    I am new to this forum. I am 36 and at 172.8 today. I was 134lbs after I had my baby 10 years ago. Didnt realise the weight had creeped up on me.

    My target is to reach 130 lbs in the next 6 months. I need all the support i can get.

    No time to work out. High pressure job! Only dieting.

    I am finally at 175. I had a visit from family over last week and didn't watch as closely what I should have as far as eating is concerned. I kept up my workouts though so I didn't gain, which is great.
    Ready to see 174 this weekend!

    Angiemama, you have lost 50 lbs? Wowww!!! This is simply amazing! You must have some kinda will!

    I have to start working out! Desk job - 12 hrs a day! By the time I come home, I am super tired and sleepy!

    But I am determined! Lets leave this group and move to the 160s soooooon....

  • Thanks gaga! I have a desk job too and I try so hard to get up as much as possible, but I sometimes look down and realize I haven't moved in two hours!!!!

    175 again today
  • 175 again today. I know I should be happy to see the consistency, but I want MOVEMENT! lol- I want to see 174 now. It's like a take a spilt second to be happy when I see a dropped number, then I'm immediately waiting for the next number on the scale.
  • Yayayayay! I saw 174 today. I'm not going to count it yet though because I stepped back on the scale and got 175.0, then 174.5 again, then 175.2
    So.... I'll wait an see tomorrow. If I get 174 again tomorrow then I will be counting it!
    Super exciting that I may make it to the 160s soon.
    I haven't been in the 160s for almost five years!!! Seriously- almost five years. I weighed 169 on my wedding day and it's the last time I remember seeing Thr number.
    I'm so excited to achieve this milestone! And hopefully soon!
  • Ugh- STILL at 175- yuck. I'm so ready to be at 174. Eating will be perfect today to hopefully see a change. It's got to show my hard work soon right?

    I'm still hopeful that I will see 172 by Friday because I feel like I'm only holding onto water weight right now. If I don't, then I'll still be okay with whatever loss I have. At this point I think I'd be thrilled with even 174! lol
  • Sorry to disappear. I was moving and am traveling a lot this week and next. Dangerous for weight loss! I have been stuck @ 171 for 3 weeks. I stopped calorie counting last week, went out to eat socially a few times, and it is showing.

    My goal is just to stay @ 171 until I stop traveling, mid-June, by watching what I eat but not being perfect and then recommit to calorie counting and finally getting to the elusive 160s.

    Angiemama, 174 is coming!!!
