First the semi-good news: I weighed myself, as planned, on Thursday, and lost 3 of my projected 5-pound loss for the month. Not great, but better than nothing.

Now for the downright bad news - I'm pretty sure I gained them back yesterday.

It started out with a chocolate chip cookie straight from my daughter's over, and well....you can probably guess the rest of the story.

SO ridiculous. I could kick myself.

(or ask someone else to do it for me? LOL) (But can I tell you how delicious everything was? No? Oh, okay.....)
Deena, I'm so sorry for your loss. Awful anytime, but soooo sad at Christmas. My condolences to you and your family.
Bobbi, oh, I'm so sorry you were snowed in for Christmas! What's going ON with this weather, anyway? It's been so extreme! Well, it'll be fun to make your gift deliveries - maybe invite folks for a New Year's day lunch or something, and exchange gifts with them then? That way, you could leave up your decorations and have something fun to look forward to! Think about it - could be the start of a new tradition!

We had a good day except for the overeating part. I feel like I'll be starting all over again, now, with working towards my goal - three steps forward, (probably; I'm NOT weighing myself!!!!) three steps back.
The little twins were a delight. Both are teething like crazy, of course, and trying to chew on everything in sight, but they did like all the new toys. I'm going to try to post a picture. We'll see what happens.
Oh, and Sue - Institches? I think I left you out of my Christmas greetings, and didn't mean to, naturally - so - a belated Merry Christmas to you! I hope your day was a happy one.
