    ONEderland meant into the 100's as in 199.5! Angel Eyes coined that phrase and I stole it. Sorry.
    Anyhow, the goal is 10 pounds off.

  • COUNT ME IN TOO!

    MY PLAN:

    * Have the bright red digital numbers on my scale read 180.0 or less!
    (approximately 20 lbs)
    * exercise at the Y 3Xs a week
    * Walk 5 mornings a week
    * Drink 120 oz or more of water
    * eliminate those "legal cheats" such as cream, nuts, peanut butter
    * make an effort to reduce the stress in my life
    * pull one basket of weeds out of my flower beds a day
    * come home from work and do some housework instead of watching Oprah

  • WE'RE ONE DAY CLOSER !!
    Today is going to be a PERFECT OP DAY !!

    WE ARE ONE DAY CLOSER TO OUR GOALS !!

    Today I will EXCERCISE, someway, somehow for at least twenty minutes! That's my goal for today! Each daily goal I succeed with makes my long term goal easier to reach! AND I'M GOING TO REACH IT !!

    Anyone else? Tackle that daily goal and watch as time flies by! We'll all be "LOSERS" for Halloween!

    My Halloween goal will be for my size 6/8 suit to fit will enough that I can wear it in public. I can button and zip, but it's not ready for the public eye yet. I'm thinking 10-15 lbs should do it.

  • Goal Setting
    Joanne, it's good to have you to keep track of things! I want to set a more specific goal for myself- it is 8 weeks, and I think that 1 lb per week is enough to expect, so I am setting 8 lbs as my goal. I was 181 this morning, so my goal weight for Halloween is 173. I also have a shorter term goal of 177 by October 1st.

    ps, what do you do for a living? I am a psychologist, who helps people with setting life goals and working toward them! I am so bad at it for myself!!

  • OH YEAH, day 1 gone down nicely and I'm doing good. My dh is all fired up as well--aiming for the 20lb loss by Halloween. Think I can do it? Been drinking lots of water and I want to maintain that amount of drinking. Hope tomorrow goes as great as today went!

  • Ok. Those of you who have set specific weight loss/exercise/food change goals, please make sure you send me your updates every Wednesday (All Hallow's Eve is on a Wednesday this year). I'll update the spreadsheet on Thursday and post either that night or Friday. You can state your information here as the "chat masters" have requested that we not post our home e:mail address (SPAM happens).

    My daily update: Drank most of the water, got in 25 minutes of exercise, stayed OP ALL DAY! Didn't get on the scale, though. TOM finally showed up (6 days late -- so like a man).

    I would have sworn that 20 lbs by Halloween was unrealistic, but you all seem to be sure of it!!
    SO I AM IN!!! I WILL BE DOWN 20 BIG OLD FAT POUNDS BY HALLOWEEN!!!!
    I will also be moving my fat at least 5 times per week, hopefully 6 days!!!!
    I signed up for a 30 day challenge at Curves today too, so this should be great!!!!!

  • One day down. I am doing great and feeling great. We are all going to do this ladies.

    Joanne: I wish to add to my weight loss goal that I am also going to walk at least 2 miles a day 6x a week.

    That will help keep me motivated too!!!

    Put me down for 200 as my starting weight for your spreadsheet, I am not sure that is correct, but I am not jumping on the haunted scale when I am smack dab in the middle of a visit from tom.

  • My Day #2!
    And feeling good. Still no cravings, no temptations! I AM GOING TO SUCCEED !!!

    I put on my tightest shorts today as a "measuring" tool. I know that at 10#'s down they will be a bit too big. By 20# they should fall to the floor! (That's going to have to do until I can get somewhere to weigh! )

    Have gotten my water in, no eating between meals and eating more salad than fat (ie., meats).

    DH did well today too. We both force fed our two eggs and bacon, drank the juice. We definately weren't hungry this a.m., unusual for DH. I spoke to him via cell phone at lunch. He took the architect to a buffet lunch. He informed me of all his good choices, wanted to make sure he did good, BUT was panicked as they had NO GRAPEFRUIT!! As soon as he came in from lunch he ran to the fridge and downed his juice! It was too funny!
    Let's see if he makes it for the duration!


    I'M DETERMINED THAT THIS IS ANOTHER OP DAY....AND I'M JUST ANOTHER DAY CLOSER TO BEING A LOSER!!! AND LOSERS LOVE COMPANY!! WHO'S WITH ME??
