That's basically what it is, IMO. These 'diet counselors' who work for LAWL and other similar places aren't diet experts for the most part. They're SALESPEOPLE, working for a very small hourly wage and a big fat commission! (just try going to hotjobs.yahoo.com and type in "LA Weight Loss" - most of the job listings are for "sales counselors" or "Sales Supervisors".)
My time is way too valuable to waste having to deal with some faux nutritionist wearing a white lab coat trying to sell me a bunch of crappy supplements....IMO...
