The first thing I saw on this thread was.....
Quote:
We actually have some chocolate in a jar that came with a paint brush......oops, that was probably too much information. I'm BAD!!!!
Then, the next thing that caught my attention was.....
Quote:
"our" famous TONY
So, of course my thoughts went immediately to....

Yes, I know I'm evil. What can I say though?
Sorry,

I needed some inspiration this morning. I'm at work and am having a hard time getting going.

Maybe get a big jar of that so Johnny can paint you, Kat and me - no wait. We will paint each other and Johnny can lick it off. Or whatever he wants to do.
That sounds like my Lucky! I love seeing you around here more often sweetpea.... Are you still loving your job?
Connie: I like "Gilbert Grape" but it is very depressing, don't you think? Thanks for commenting about my "cat attack". My leg is better, but still bruised. Emily is now outside. She used to always be outside, but we brought her in and now she is on "vacation". I found as long as I had her in, I got scared....so for now, we are spending time apart and I am ok with that.
Deb: I worry all the time about blood clots too. A friend's friend was overweight and died at only 33. (my age) He was fine one day and was dead the next. It is very very scary. I will definitely say a prayer for you. Take care of yourself sweetie. Also, I have looked to see if there could be anything underlying with Trey that makes him eat, but I honestly think he eats because he loves it. He is a pretty happy go lucky kid and not much bothers him. I don't push him too much on the issue, because I know how it feels. I always make SURE he knows I am concerned for his
health. The words, "
You have such a pretty face....if only you'd lose weight" constantly ring through my head from growing up with my Mom.
2cute: First off.....let me say: I MISS YOU! But I understand you are a really really busy woman these days, so I understand. BUT, the minute things settle down, I expect your butt back in here! That's an order!

By the way, I am MAJORLY proud of you for all your efforts lately. I hope you know what an inspiration you are to me.
Joanne: I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time with your DS here lately. If you don't mind, how old is he? My oldest is 15 right now and if I do say so myself, he is a pretty good kid. I mean, don't get me wrong...he has his days that he likes to "test the water" but for the most part, the biggest problem I have to worry about is him not mowing the yard when dh tells him too. LOL
Thin: We will try our best to "hold down the fort" while you're being a showgirl, but after all of your good ideas for activities....

Not sure how many points in the chocolate. When I go upstairs I'll check. But I will tell you that what you spread it on has no calories and getting it back off again can actually help you lose weight
I'm not sure how many of us will actually have time to post!
Amanda: Your whole post just cracked me up.

I, unfortunately....am not a very spontaneous person. (Of course, it's hard to be spontaneous when you have kids) It's hard enough to try to "get friendly" with dh when the kids are at the door saying, "Uh Mom....what is Dad making that
noise?" I do see what you're saying though. Chocolate drying would be very distracting. LOL Having said that, I know you're having a hard time lately, but just remember....we ARE always here for you and this too shall pass. You will only get down if you let yourself. Keep your chin up kiddo.

I wish the WW scale had some way of measuring the change in body composition besides just total weight. That's a much better indicator of what we're accomplishing.
I have to say I agree with you on that. It would be nice to see what we're doing in inches too. Sometimes the scale is not kind even though we've been OP and it sure would be nice to see we lost in other ways other than in lbs. I think I'm going to have dh take my measurements this weekend.
Pam: You will actually laugh at my idea of giving myself some "self love." I found something decent to eat and vegged out in front of the tv and fell asleep on the couch. (something I never do) It was nice to be able to watch what I wanted to without the kids coming in and turning the channel on me. Sure didn't last long though... LOL
Barb: You have been such a busy little beaver here lately! I need you to head down to my part of the woods. I have a bathroom that definitely needs some work. We're about the lay tile in there and we're very excited. Well, at least I am.
Alright ladies....I have responded to everyone that has posted so far and I am beat! Hope everyone else has a wonderful day and I will try to pop back in later tonight.... I think I'm having company.
