  • OK, now I'm getting PO'd
This is the third time I've tried to post here. Each time I've gone to another website to copy the URL to post here and I've lost my post. Sheesh.
Anyhow, I just want to extend good wishes to our Tammy . I know you must have all kinds of irrational fears right now but I bet they are all unfounded. It's a good thing that these lumps have been discovered and that your doctor is on the ball and looking into the matter. I'm praying that they are benign cysts. Try to think positive, Tammy.

Taz I have to laugh and you will kick yourself. LCSnacks means Low Carb Snacks. Bet you knew that all along. LOL

If you want some real inspiration and encouragement that the low carb way really does work, I urge you to visit this website. All these people have lost 100 lb following low carb plans and some of their stories will make you cry, I guarantee it.

I too am very concerned about the war in Iraq but watching it on TV is like watching grass grow. I catch the highlights on the news and then try to avoid those channels where they just keep showing the same webcam view of Baghdad. I guess boring is good when it comes to war but it's not great television. I also take with a large measure of salt the views of all the so-called experts. They really don't know anything IMHO. It's just a lot of gobbledygook. What will be will be and there's not much we can do about it. They are predicting a quick war but I've heard that before so I wouldnt bet the farm on it. Didn't they say that about Vietnam?
Well, I'm on Day 3 of Atkins and I'm getting the headache thing but I also think I may be getting a cold. Lots of sneezing, but that could just mean I need to dust this house. The scale showed a 2 lb loss this morning. I usually only get on once a week but it grabbed me and forced me onto it and I was encouraged so I guess it was a good thing. I won't get on again until next Wednesday though.
  • Tammy! hugs and prayers and good vibes being sent your way, hang in there!!

The war? I have not taken my eyes off of it....except to get the mammo done. No dignity there. It was a toss up between feeling like a load of pizza dough and then a frajita....guess I was hungry?

Anyway, the war: I find my self welling up with tears sometimes. One of my bests friend's dh (Julie, Jiff) is over there and her sister also...the hot shot don't mess with me marine who I just love. I don't think it will be another Vietnam...this one has a defined mission. I am grateful, very grateful that for now, this battle is not in my back yard. Call me selfish...9/11 was enough and I don't want to see it anywhere in this country ever again.
