Hello ladies! Things are a little more calm at work this morning, so I might actually get to post a little while this morning. Of course, as I just typed that, the phone rang 4 times. So, what to talk about? Well....

I think I told you about the Leslie Sanson DVD's I got off of Ebay the other day, didn't I? If not, I'm sorry. There was a 3 DVD set on there. It had a 1 mile, 2 mile and then a super walk away challenge. The starting bid on them was $21, but you could Buy it now! for $22, so of course you know...I just had to get them! Anyways, the super walk away challenge is a single DVD and it has 3 segments on it. The first segment is one mile, then it rolls into segment 2, which is 1 1/2 miles, then that rolls into segment 3, which is 1 1/2 miles including a cool down, so if you do the entire DVD, it totals 4 miles! Guess who's done 4 miles the last two days? I wish I had all the fat in a bucket that I have sweated off in the last few months. I just might send it to Leslie Sansone to thank her! Well, Leslie didn't do the work, I did, but she sure does help out!

Also, on adopting the dog named Lucky...
We've been wanting to get another dog for quite awhile since ours was stolen, but we wanted an inside dog, but not a puppy. One that was hopefully already housetrained. So, we're looking in the local pennysaver and there was the add: FREE: DOG. SMALL, INSIDE ONLY...HOUSEBROKEN. NEUTERED. VERY GENTLE, NEEDS LOVING HOME. So we called them. Turns out the people that had him were "foster parents." What they do is go to local shelters and adopt dogs and bring them to their home and take care of them and try to find them good homes. In Lucky's case, when the lady found him, he was due to be destroyed the very next day. He also came from an abused home. He was and is, to a certain extent...terrified of men. Apparently whoever had him, there was a man who beat him quite often. It just infuriates me. This is the sweetest, most loving dog I have ever encountered. He is so gentle and would not even hurt a flea. He is mainly black (looks ALOT like a corgi) with an undercoat of brown around his neck. He wants to be with you everywhere you go. He will follow you from room to room, lay at your feet and when you sit down, he will put both paws on your legs and just look at you so longingly, it almost hurts your heart. I'm so glad we found him and he will never have to worry about being hurt again. The reason they named him Lucky is because if she hadn't of adopted him when she did, he wouldn't be here with us today and for that reason, I kept the name.

Mary: Let me say to you that I am very sorry to hear about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. Seems like you've had your share of troubled times this year. Please know that we love you and are always here for you.

Ok, it's about time for me to take lunch....but I just had to say to Jen: it is SO good to have you back here with us. When I saw your name and avatar, I knew immediately it was you! Don't you worry girl....we have all been where you are now and together we can do this! Just don't leave us again! Remember, we are your support and lifeline, just like you will be for us.

Hey ladies. I just spent some time ranting in my journal and then catching up on the posts. It helps me to come here before I sit down and eat. It helps me ground and center, so I dont go on a bing. Everyone seems to have so many things going on. I'm still learning who is who, that is why I dont respond to alot of posts, please dont think I'm rude, I'm still catching on.

Today is a new beginning for me. I'm going to go eat lunch and then go straight to my exercises so I can make sure I get them in. I want to thank everyone again for the warm welcome and kindness. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

It's official!!!!! I lost 4 lbs for the week!!! So thats 15lbs gone since January 23, not too bad. Every week I plan on adding to that number!!! I will succeed I will I will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah to all you losers for this week and a big hug to those of you who are struggling.

I have about 2 minutes to post. I have been gone all day running errands, getting the other rim replaced and taking dd and dgs to the doctor. Thomas is coughing like a 4 pack a day smoker. He has been on claritin for allergies because their insurance won't authorize the meds his dr prescribed and the claritin caused a sinus infection because of his running nose etc instead of drying him out. I am pooped., but I did get in my exercise tonight at the mall again.

Everybody please say a little prayer for me. The secretarial job out at my husband's plant is opened again and I would love to have it! I have all the skills for it and it would be perfect for us regarding current transpo etc.

Here is something my sister sent that I thought everyone would find amusing. I will try to get in tomorrow but it is another busy day for me.

Ok just a quick update on the job thingy for Tina...I love my job...but my district manager keeps saying to us...I know you don't want to lose your job but.....and we are all tired of it...so some of us have been looking...and I went for an interview with another company same business and they will pay me $15 an hour plus all benefits and they will open a store in my area just for me and my CSR who I am taking with me! Can't beat that now can you! It may take a couple of months but its pretty much a done deal. The one store they are opening next is in Philadelphia and he said he would put the two of us there but I asked about opening a store in Bristol and I told him of some vacant space and gave him the number so he is going to call and see what he can work out. Is that service or what? I would rather not work in PHilly because you have to pay a city wage tax there that you don't get back....I call it extortion tax! Anyway...my boss needs to tell us we are doing a good job...my store is the only one in our district who collected over 10% of their bad debt collections for this contest they have running from Jan - april. He gets a cut of this bonus money I am earning so he better appreciate it!! No one else in the district has qualified yet...and there are 11 stores in his district! So I say bite my fat A$$ !! Show me the money!!

OK Enough of my babbling...I gotta go hit the books...5 classes this glutton is taking this semester!

Well guys I've almost made it the whole day without one single binge. I'll be in bed in a couple of hours and the day will be over. My aunt brough by two, not one, but two candy bars. As of right now, they are in the bathroom, under the sink. Out of sight, out of mind, lol. I didnt want to throw them away, so I just stuck them in there. Work was ok this evening, not too much going on there.

Hi everybody! I started to post about 6 hours ago and just now got back to it. Now it's time for bed and I've only got a minute.

Did one of my 8 hours on my feet type job today. YIKES! Glad I don't do these every day! I have one more in this series to do and that will be next Tuesday. I like to schedule them a day or so apart so that I can recouperate in-between them.

Tomorrow is a real light day, thank you God, or whoever schedules me for all this work! Oh, that would be me, I guess. Anyway, just one report to write and then one small 'showgirl' job.

Katrina: It sounds like you had a great night in NYC! And my fingers are crossed that you daughter's first college choice comes through for her. You're right about it needing to be the 'perfect fit'. That's how my youngest feels about his University.

Sandy: Good job on the weightloss! You're doing GREAT!!!

Donna: You are definitely having a week from ****! I sure hope that improves real soon.

Jen: OMG! It is so GOOD to see you!!! I'm so glad you're coming back to join us. We've really missed you! I see you just had a birthday too. Happy, happy belated birthday. Mine was the 12th.

Baylee: That recipe looks great. * I didn't realize the DQ had that type of stuff available. I absolutely love these Healthy Choice fudgescicles they have out. The chocolate tastes like a Wendie's frosty, but with a smoother consistency. * I sure hope all is well with your DIL. Sorry, but I know nothing about the problem. I'll just keep her in my prayers. * I read this and had to laugh: "Thin, how come you put them under the sink? You're not hiding them for future use, are you? Come on now! Fess up! If I lived closer, I'd come steal them while you sleep. I'd laugh if your hubby found them during the night. " I wish you would come by. I would welcome you with open arms. And in fact, I would love to let you search under my sink for chocolate. You wouldn't find any, because it was Ravyn that has the candy bars under the sink. I have better hiding places!!!

Mary: I'm so sorry to hear about your niece. Hope you have a safe trip.

Tina: That's a great price for those DVD's. I got 3 of her tapes for $18.00 and Sam's or Costco a bit ago. Now all I have to do is crack open the cellophane.

Ravyn: I'm glad you've decided to make our thread your home. Don't you worry one bit about individual replies until you get it straight. I'll also tell you that none of us feel bad if you happen to skip us at one time or another. What I'm trying to say is that you don't have to feel OBLIGATED to respond to each of us ALL the time.

Michelle: So that's the story of the new job. I don't blame you one bit for looking for another opportunity when your boss seems to have no respect for his employees. I do alot of pagan and Wicca Chat boards so thats how I first got deemed Ravyn. I'm used to about anything. And if you really want, the cho is still there, you are more than welcome to it, lol.

I have to take dd to preschool right now, but when I get back, I'll write up a little bio, since I'm the new chicky on the thread, lol.

Boy having a good loss for the week gives you new found energy all over again. I got up this a.m and finally got Alexis off to school (Evan spent the night with Nana). Then I came back in the house and said well its 7:30 and I don't have to be to work till 9, so I popped in the WATP tape and did the first 1 1/2 miles. Oh how good and energized you feel when you do it in the a.m. I know Bay-lee did all that info grabbing for me, and I'm still confussed because I read another article in the Womans World yesterday. So, I think I have decided to do some in the a.m and some in the late afternoon, then I have all bases covered .

Raven, that is a strange place to hide the candy, but hey if it works for you then DO IT!!!! Lately, my best trick is to throw what ever it is that I really want on the floor, then I know I won't eat it, I just either tell the dog to come and get it or I pick it up and put it in the garbage. I had to do this with the Turkey skin about a week back, as that's the part I love the best of a baked turkey.

Michelle, exactly what kind of store is it that you work in? I must have missed it? Is it a video store?

Thin, I've read a lot of your posts too concerning your job and I guess I really don't know what you do either?

Okay girls it's almost 8:30 and I gotta get my butt to work, but will try to pop in from there if my boss leaves the office today. I know she will be in for a bit, today is PAYDAY!!!

Good morning everybody. As usual, I am in a rush. My life seems to have gotten a lot more complicated these last couple weeks.

Sandy: I cannot describe how excited I am for you and how you have grabbed on to this thing. It really isn't so hard once you get the hang of it!

Crystal: Honey, I would be sticking those puppies down the garbarge disposal! I have candy in the house for dh and my dgs, but I have been able to stay away from it. I am surprised that I can though!

Baylee: Years ago I worked in OB/GYN as a red cross volunteer and because I was so interested, the nurse practiioners let me do a lot and showed me a lot of stuff. There are a lot of different kinds etc and rather than try and explain each one, I am going to pm you the info, ok? I hope she gets to feeling better. They are very painful.

Michelle: Hope things turn out well for your job situation. Study study study!!!

Thin: Hope you are feeling fit as a fiddle this morning. Those on your feet the whole day jobs can be rough. At least, it is not always for you. I, too hope my day today is better, but I am glad I got the other rim fixed so there is no fear of having problems on our trip now.

Well, I will try and post to the rest of you later on. I have to get hopping. I am supposed to be at my daughter's at 9 to go to the commissary.

Hey, I said I'd post this up, so here it goes. I really dont know where to start, so I guess the beginning is best. Well my mother met my dad.....lol, j/k. Not that much of a beginning, aye?

Well, as I've told some of you, my birth name is Crystal. I'm a 29 year old mother, with a wonderful daughter who will be 5 in June. I have been heavy most of my life. When I turned 18, I started expirmenting with different diets, that only led to huge trouble. I became bulmic. But I did lose my weight, I remember my lowest being 140. Well I soon met my frist husband and had my daughter. Knowing I couldnt binge and purge anymore, I soon replaced one disease for another, and became a complusive eater. Natasha was born in 1998, I went from 140 to 160 to 220 to 310 in a year and half. How is that for putting on the pounds. Even after she was born I couldnt gain control. I started Weight Watchers in May of 2001. I weighed in at 363. My heart sank, I felt like i was the largest person in the world. But I made myself stay, and I made myself go back. Since then my lowest has been 296, but due to money trouble and holidays, I put some of that back on. Now I'm regaining control of my life and my eating.

My marriage ended, and since then I've met and became engaged to a wonderful man named Justin. He has helped me through all of this, I guess you could say he is my 'coach'. Thus what I refere to him in my journal as. I thank the stars above our paths have entertwined.

I dont have much family support, my whole family is heavy, and my greatest fear is Nat will be too, but I am the influence, so I need to make sure I live a healthy life, so she can learn.

Well I guess I'm rambled enough, its probably too much information, but now ya'll can understand why I have such a fear of food, and I'm so desperate to regain control of my eating.
