  • Congrats on losing the weight! That's such a huge accomplishment! I feel the exact same way. I've lost more weight in the last year than I've ever lost before, and while I'm still not at my goal I've come so far. Most of my success I feel is due to 3fc. It's the one tool I never had before this final attempt at losing weight.

It's true that I've had plenty of stalls and gaining back 5-10 lbs here and there, but I've always been able to eventually motivate myself into losing the weight again. Whenever I come to 3fc I'm so encouraged by everyone's success and inspired by others overcoming their own struggles. I'll never stop coming here!
  • Kim Congratulations to YOU on your 3FC one year Anniversary. Great JOB on your 39lbs GONE. ... Way to GO

I love these kinds of posts, it was all of these that made me decide I could do this for a year.

(and yes, I am sooo looking forward to my one year as well)
  • Yay, Kim! You are a soon-to-be 60 day challenge rockstar, a runner, and just plain fabulous! Keep up the great work!
  • Congratulations!! There are a lot of great people here!
  • Great post! I have only been on here for a month and I am in awe of the wonderful wisdom and incredible sharing that takes place all the time.

I have struggled for years, been to many Dr.'s and always felt like I was a diet failure until I found this site! It really does help to know that what ever I am going through, it's normal on this journey as well as great real life sound advise!

It's not just weight, but a feeling of finally becoming friends with my own body and learning real methods of becoming healthy physically, mentally and in every other way.

I honestly believe this kind of support saves lives!
  • Not only was your post very inspirational, but very very true.
This was the real year that everything has clicked for me... I've slowly been losing weight over the past few years, but this year, I really got "it". That this isn't a diet. This is just life. I have more good days than bad. When I have an off day, it's usually planned, and I know what to do to keep my weight in check. And it's NOT A DIET...just all the lessons I've learned along the way, now in fruition.

Looking back on all the setbacks and hurdles, I'm so grateful for them! It's the ONLY way you can ever learn!!! Without mistakes, there is no lesson learned, no way to improve.

And lol, now I can go out for dinners with friends, go to parties, etc... and not have a panic attack that I'll gain 40 pounds. Just means eating lighter the next day and maybe an extra mile on the treadmill

Again, thank you for the post!
  • Congrats on all your success, and best of luck for the rest of your journey! I certainly hope I can post as many positive changes as you have when my one-year anniversary comes around!
  • Congratulations! And thank you for posting
