  • Dear Stay Away from the Scale
Why would you stay away from the scale? I have never understood who started the fiction that the scale is a bad thing. I weigh daily, always have, always will. It keeps me accountable. I recognize that some days,, depending on the amount of salt I have had, or the lack or water consumed,, the weight will fluctuate, but I will not go a day without weighing in. I'm not taking any chances. If you talk to people and they say they never weigh, they are usually afraid of weighing in because they are FAT!

    I don't understand!??? what don't you get?
  • It doesn't matter if you're " FAT " , the point is she's LOSING weight and doesn't want to be discouraged, whether it be a smaller loss than she anticipated or no loss at all. It frustrates people which is why even experts say don't weigh more than once a week.
  • Thanks, everyone, for understanding. I've been stepping on the scale multiple times a day and getting a bit obsessed, so actually stepping away from the scale and just staying on program is probably a better move for me.

I'm going to try to keep my scale hopping to a minimum. I know this program works and I've been 100% on, so I'll see if I can at least go a day or two without weighing myself.
