  • I couldn't run it, but I might be able to run, bike, ski, and walk it.
  • I just did all the math and I came in at 1,356.3 last year, with a slowdown at the end of the year. So, I'm setting 2011 at 1200 walk/run/bike.

    To date:
    1/2: +8, bike
    1/4: +2.3, walk
  • I hit 1000 last year, so I'm sure I can do it again this year. I'm in!

    So far I have 18.38 miles running, walking, and cycling.

    It's 8.1 miles round trip to work and I try to bike as often as I can.
  • 1.5 hours of cardio at the gym got me in at..

    2.25 - Elliptical
    5.50 - Stationary Bike
    2.0 - Walking/Jogging (20 minutes straight jogging, a personal and painful best for me!)

    Grand total of 9.75 miles. And then I took the stairs instead of the elevator back to my third floor walk-up apartment, and that has to count for something too, surely, lol.

  • The girls and I just finished our last morning walk for a while so we added an extra mile since it is a nice morning here. I am heading out of town for a week or so in the morning, assuming my job passes inspection today. I will try to get some miles in but it may be hard with the overtime we are expected to be doing.

    I totally stopped keeping track last fall when I switched to hiking from . So this year I'll keep track of everything together

    I've started a countdown on Jan 1st...
    I try to walk 3 km per day, to reach my total of 1000 km in 2011.
    so far it's going great!!!
    my countdown goes like this:
    1000km - 19.5km walked so far = 980.5 km to go

    I love to see the numbers going down!!!
  • When I joined 3FC last year and saw this thread, I thought, These people are crazy!

    This year I'm in. One thousand miles running.

    So far I've done:
    1/2: 5.8 miles
    1/3: 4.7 miles
    1/5: 3 miles
    1/6: 5.4 miles

    18.9 miles down, 981.1 to go (please check my math!

    I have yet to decide what to do today. I'm doing a half-marathon training program through my local road runners club, and the schedule calls for 6 slow but I'm thinking about 3 fast. Decisions, decisions!

    Ice is my enemy so that is just from walking in place while watching two hours of comedy acts in my living room I can't wait for it to be nice out, then I'll be able to go on longer, nicer walks
