Hi ladies,
Trish - aww, it's so sweet, how you and baby Jaxxon bonded so quickly! I hope you will be able to see him again before too long. Counting calories and eating whole foods is what I do, too! Very easy-peasy. I'm glad Tony doesn't mind "stopping to smell the roses". Neal is not inclined that way, but did it for me, after I pointed out to him that we have a totally free schedule. One of the perks of being retired! Btw, I really enjoyed reading your bio!
Doris - ahh, wouldn't it be nice if the frost would kill only the weeds? haha You know, I was born and reared here in So. Indiana, but I can't take the humidity at all! Gimme an air-conditioned house/car/store at all times, lol.
Carol - I'm still giggling about you not seeing the molding in your craft room. I've had that same feeling before, lol. Sometimes it's hard to downsize our stash, but I did just that before our last move. I gave boxes of craft supplies and instruction books one of my sisters. Best thing I did! Yay for the "little" loss. In my book, any loss at all is worth celebrating.
Tammy - wow, I sure hope all your a/c problems are over. It's always something, though! Is the ankle looking better today?
Roxanna - congrats to you for the 1# down, and for starting a walking/running program! Whoo hoo!!
Hello to anyone else reading this.
I'm so excited! Our grape tomatoes are ripe in the garden, and mmmm do they taste scrumptious! I just love all the fresh produce and love even more how good my body feels for eating it.
Today I'm finishing the menu for our Memorial Day Sunday cookout, trying to balance old favorites with healthy choices. I think portion control is key.
What are you ladies doing for the holiday?
