What I did for my juice fast was
Breakfast: carrot/celery/apple/lemon juice sometimes with ginger juiced in and sometimes other things like raw summer squash or bell peppers
Lunch: HUGE raw meal-- salad, 2-3 pcs fruit, and dates stuffed with almonds
Dinner: same as breakfast
Before bed: HUGE green smoothie
I had been having some health issues ever since I gave birth, and they really got a WHOLE lot better after doing this for 10 days (and my milk supply didn't suffer with all these great nutrients coming in). I also drank a lot of dandelion root tea to try and gently detox my liver, so I'm sure that helped a lot. I felt so good and the weight has stayed off, but no more has come off. So... I want to get another 20-30 lbs off this summer in case I get pregnant again (I get pregnant REALLY easily, usually when the last baby is 7-8 months) .
How are y'all doing at raw? I have so many supportive friends who are into raw. They're always cheering me on. My sweet husband makes green smoothies for breakfast for us and the kiddos every morning. He's so supportive of raw too, and my kids LOOOOVE their fruit and veggies (probably because they see us heartily chowing down on them!).
Anyway, so glad to find you all! Please post recipes if you have good easy ones. I'm kind of a purist (I'd be happy with guacamole on lettuce leaves and a ton of fruit every day), but sometimes it's nice to have some variety.
