  • It's busy busy busy right now. And it was busy busy busy LAST January/February when there are tons of new members and everyones stoked for the new year and new plans etc etc. I try to respond to most posts because I want people to KEEP coming here and KEEP at their plans... by March or April it's usually died down to the same people it was LAST March or April plus a nice handful of very dedicated newbies It works!!!
  • You guys are awesome, you always make me feel good.. even about something like this..lol. Thanks
  • You're not the only one.

I've been trying to remember where I've posted things, LOL.

My main spots are the 100's, 20-somethings, Alternachicks, and the main Support forum.

It's hard to remember where I posted what, ha-ha.
  • Quote: I used to stay caught up a lot better than I do now. I think it's because there has been a huge influx of new chicks in January and the group is very active right now. That's a GOOD thing! But I've been really busy at work and busy sewing quilts as gifts, so I haven't had as much time as I would like to read 3FC. In fact, I should be heading for the shower and getting ready for work NOW!
What Windchime said. Work is keeping me hopping these days, and with all the new chicks around sometimes all I get a chance to do is post on the daily 'one reason to stay on plan' thread, and that's it. I also read/post on the Atkins board, but that one's far less active than this, so it's easier.

My point is: No guilt! You can only do what you can do. It's not like anyone is taking attendance.
  • I sometimes feel bad that whilst I'm reading lots of posts, I'm not posting that much myself. This is generally because of some real life stress - which I'm trying to sort out, without much success at the moment - but it has as effect that I'm not chiming in and supporting people as I've been supported and cheered on here myself.
  • I feel like I read too many posts. But i have an excessive amount of time on my hands right now, with only one online class, an empty house and with most of my friends away for this intersession term at school.

That being said, not everyone has the chance to make the internet as their part-time job. I don't think anyone expects that. Read what you can, respond when you feel you have something to say and know that everyone has time constraints. Don't feel bad for having a lot on your plate.
  • I think what's really cool about this board is that you can really make it what you need it to be. Read when you can. Post when you can. We are here for you and you should never feel guilty.
