Hi all- my name is Mel & I'm pretty sure this is my 3rd challenge. (Red team all the way!)
I work part-time and have 3 kids ages 9,7 & 5. I've been overweight most of my life.
I started my weight loss journey in earnest in Jan. '09 using calorie counting & running. I used the couch to 5K running plan which is a great way to get started. The running has slowed down to almost nil but I'm hoping to get started again so I can do another 5k on Mother's Day.
My goal for this challenge is to be more active on the boards (& bust through my current plateau)- last challenge I was on the sidelines, but now that I've survived another holiday in 'retail' I hope to be more chatty! I look forward to getting to know everyone.

Long story, but thankfully the kids are handling the transition very well, PTL.) Anyway, I'm nearing the end of my weight loss journey, but still need to tone up and get rid of some body fat and a little more weight to get into the runner's/athlete's body I desire for myself.
