iwannalose, I'm so sorry to hear about your situation I'm sure it will work out and don't worry about spending money on presents, if it's made by yourself it's far more valuable than anything storebought.

Platform, I checked out your knitting blog, and wow! You're very talented. I've been trying to knit a hat for ages but it just gets more strange looking by the day.

I am happy and sad today. I finally got a call from that dream job of mine, a very nice lady who interviewed me informed me I wasn't chosen and I was holding back tears but pretended to be happy and said thanks for your time and do keep me in mind if something else becomes available. Realistically I know I must have been close to get such a long answer, but still it's not what I wanted to hear. On the upside, I did get a small job teaching languages to a child, hopefully that will help me find something full-time. I hate this recession!

WannaLose - that SUCKS. Sorry to hear about your living situation but at least there's a bit of a positive outlook to it. Have you thought about making a scrapbook for your sister? I remember one year I was really broke at my brother's bday so I made a scrapbook of pictures of the two of us and other pictures of our family from back in the day. I included all sorts of cool quotes in it and stuff.

Sanna - sorry to hear about you not getting the job. I can never tell what's worse... knowing you were SOOOOOO close to getting it and not, or just not getting the job period? I guess you just need to keep your chin up and remember you were in the running! Something better will come along. I know it's hard to imagine now, but it will. Maybe you would've been really miserable at that job in the long run.

haven't had chance to exercise these two days. I came back home late @11PM and felt like no energy to practice =.=" Tomorrow will be better.

I feel bad about the party because I said I'd go, and then I didn't go. I mean I just wasn't feeling it, but she's uber-po'ed. I hate it when people act like they're 5.

Weighed today despite being super afraid. Down a pound!! Its weird to keep losing considering I haven't been eating so well and I've been exercising consistently but not the 13 times a week I've been used to. Oh well. No complaints. Its funny because 185 is not only a mini goal but it was, at one time, my ultimate goal. lol. so, still exciting.

I keep missing the start of these threads...and by the time I catch up, another week has started. So I'm just throwing myself in. However, now I'm freaking out because Christmas is so close and I have too much shopping to get done...I just don't want to!

Stella, sounds like you made the right choice. If you had gone, she would be complaining that you weren't perky enough. better to just stay home.

congrats to everyone who's made it through to the week before xmas without pitching a fit about having to work >.<

I only have to wake up for work 7 more times until I get about a week and a half off!!! I love when Christmas is in the middle of the week. It gives the schools an extra long break. Next year, we get screwed and only get a week! haha I love that I'm complaining about the amount of time we get off. LOL

I am so cold!!! I have my legs under the blankets, the laptop keeping my lap/legs warm, and a fleece blanket around my shoulders. Kind of my own version of a snuggie I am trying to kill time before dinner because I am starting to get a bit hungry, but don't want to snack before dinner time since it's so close.

I hope everyone had a good weekend. I actually went on a date yesterday afternoon. This is the 4th time we've gone out. He's definitely a nice guy, but it was awkward at the end when we were saying goodbye. He went in for a kiss, but I thought he was going for a hug (because he hugged me goodbye last time), and it was just awkward. LOL We'll see what comes out of this....hehe.

Ugh..today has been incredibly long ...10 hour work day... and I have so much to get done...my aunt just asked me today to make 4 cheesecakes for her for friday... at least I will make a little bit of extra money...

Anybody want to grade papers or benchmark tests for me???? Ughh!! I need to buckle down for 2hours and then go workout for an hour. I hate when I"m in a pissy mood cuz I don't want to see anyone (kind of difficult when you teach), talk to anyone or do ANYTHING!

On the Christmas note, I haven't bought anything yet! HA. Maybe I'll buy the stuff I need to mail this weekend. It's hard for me to think about shopping while school is still in session plus I am flying to Michigan on Sunday and I LOVE THE CRAZY MALLS AT CHRISTMAS

Okay, so I went out to eat and had a 14 oz steak...but, I then did interval running and about 40 minutes on Wii Fit...so that's okay? right?

Ladies! Been busy, busy around here! Just booked a trip to go to Vancouver for 5 days with the hubby and stay at a fancy 5 star hotel, so that will be fun...

Did pretty good eating today, just need to get my butt in gear with the exercise.
