Wow, Kathy, what a breakthrough that was. Your anniversary dinner sounds yummy. Congrats on the anniversary. How many years have you been married? Good luck with your weigh in tomorrow. Hope our challenge is helping you.
Things are going OK here. I'm feeling better. I think it was easier to get past this right now because, unlike when we first moved here, I'm busy and it's not all boring routine housework. I have interesting things to do.
I know that as a responsible adult, I need to find work, but I'm not going to let myself go crazy over the local job situation. When I find jobs that fit my needs-I can get to them via the bus and they're not industrial stuff I don't know how to do, I'll apply. Meantime, I'll keep doing the best I can to manage on our income.
One of the women on the web site has a reputation for being the toughest critiquer of anyone. Well, she totally trashed my premise. But she trashed the original one, not the revised one. After I tossed out the parts that referred to stuff I'd already changed or disagreed with her about, I've been thinking about the rest of what she said. I'm not sure what I'm going to do to fix the problems she noticed that I missed. So, I have a ton of work to do this week. I have to redo the last two assignments, read the assigned chapter, and write about 3000 words for our assignments this week. That's how many words we're supposed to end up with. Which means writing a lot more, revising, and polishing. Holly said that next week there will be even more work to do. It's great and I'm learning so much.

Happy turtlin'!
