Pat, Honey we looked at home after home , after home until they began to run together. Then I thought of settling for so much less than I wanted but still dragged on. I had chosen a house and we were making an offer on a house when the price dropped again on this one. This house I had had my eye on for a year. It came close to my price range and that was it ! It will happen. Just make sure you don't get so tired of it all that you forget the things that are really important to you. You have to kiss just a many frog houses as you do princes before you find the one that is right for you!!!! Lol.

Sue Bee...... we all would like to kill people sometimes don't worry it will pass. Smile sweet and say sugar and spice and everything nice and begin fresh! It may not help but you will feel so silly saying it you can't help but laugh and then yyour tension will be less!!! Wierd but true.LOL Silly sayings can be quite useful!

Dear Dear Lee, We all have those times in life when we feel so degraded by ourselves or others. I have learned to discuss about anything, especially with the chosen few but you know what each person finds their own way to openness be it with friends , family or soul Sisters and as a soul Sister you know you can but you also know you don't have too. I am just thrilled to see you back anything after that is pure gravy. Keep those wonderful pearls of wisedom coming we are succeeding. At bit at a time but we sure are. You have fought a hard battle and won . The inner battles my Darlin determines the the results of the outter and you have already won !

Pam i was up early this mornig and it was quite and dark in my room. I tried to listen to nothing but i hear a loud buzzing inmy head not just one but several. I thought listen to all that stress and worry in my mind. I tried to get rid of it but it diminished but did not go away. I hope that things will be better. when we pull away and have time to stp putting up the tent and have the camp all set up then i will say what is done is done. there is nothing more i can do. I know finanaces will come up thi s next week as i know i have checks bouncing all over the ppalce like rubberballs this next week. and i hope to god that the bank covers them all thill i get my DH's next check. then i wil worry about what i can pay then. but for now some of the bill collectors are quiet. I hope that ic an start work on tuesday too as that will be a help and give me a partial check when it is pay day. I know god answersin many different ways. and yesterday he answered in a quite one. my DD came to me awith her bank book and said mon can i get this money out?? she had 10$ in it. so it remended me that the other Dd has the same in it ans the boys have about* in each of theirs. DD wanted to get pizza so i said i would give it to her and take the money out on sat. when the bank was open. that gives me about 20+ for cash, and she said that she had about 20 in italina money that shw would give to me to exchange. so that is another 20 for use for gas when camping so i do not have to bounce another check!! see god does answer some times!! it is nto mcuh but it will be enough and i need to take that as a sighn that i am going to be ok just bearly but OK!

Off plan yesterday TOM and stress killed me. but i hope atleast to be in control today.

Lee you are dong great. stress can do us all in!! you can come to my house any time you want (it can take some cleaning) I will even give you some quite time (as if there is such a thing in this house) so you can concentrate on your writing. Your handeling of your anniversary of your mom's death was absolutly beautiful. I really like that. many people do not do that. the day is held in such sorry and anguish that you celeberaed it. Especially one that was so tragic for you. I am glad that you got over your feelings and have moved on to a higher level. your mom abvioously could not see the sunshine over the gloom. That is why i value my friendships I have here. you all make me see the sunshine and know that there are more things in life than worring about my troubles.

well enough on that philisophical note. I must get to packing before it gets to hot. ihave to roll all my sleeping bags back up. and retie them and locate the last one tha ti had I think tha my DD's frind ad borrowed it and she is camping so that is not good. I need it today!!

Today I have been so very good and did a great work out although I was so annoyed for a while and had to wait to get started. I chose to swim a'natural as our property allows me to do that...except for today! Here I was out in the pool getting warmed up to do my work out when a strange sound entered my ears causeing me to stop and look around when suddenly I saw it a low flying glider plane going overhead! Never , never has that happened before! I was amazed and realized that it began to bank to come back around. I quickly swam over grabbed a towel and tied it on me to fake out a suit, when and sat by my drink and lit a cig . so when he came back there I sat "suited" and casuall smoking and having a drink. He came back four more times but by this time I was securely suited in the orange towel( thank God I lost enough to do that! I have to say my thought was ..." Go find some cute little thing to harass and leave the old fat lady alone!!!! That made me laugh at myself. None -the -less I had a great work out!

I am 90% OP and plan to restart the exercise when I finish class. Still no house yet

Had a very busy day, cleaning and organizing, trying to find Mom's Burial Insurance paperwork and vault but I did'nt find it, although Mom's desk is so organized it is scary! Next her closet! That thing is packed! It won't be when I am done. I am on a regular exercise routine believe it or not! We are all ok and buzzing right along. Mom is much better. She still eats far less than she needs to but her blood work is great and she even managed to wash a couple of loads of wash today. She hasn't done that in months ! She sleeps a good deal but heck she has far more than earned it. Finances are much better and well life is much better. Not perfect but what is!

I've been working on my project and am nearly finished the initial writing I have to do. It's becoming an obsession for me at this point. I'm staying 100% OP and I think I am down to about 205/206. The weather here has been rainy for the past week and I've had to take pain medication to survive, but it's the rainy season, and after the drought we had the last couple of years, I cannot really complain.

You all know (I think) that I have been having a bit of a problem eating. We have plenty of food in the house, but I have just not had any appetite. When I did, I was not always up to preparing myself anything to eat. I have found a liquid protein supplement called Myoplex that contains 20 grams of proteing and only 5 grams of carbs. It's not Atkins, but like I told Pam, I'm not impressed with Atkins supplements and his "net" carbs. Normally I am not one to take supplements (just like I hate taking meds), but this drink seems to be working for me, it tastes great, and comes in different flavors. You can buy it in a powder or already prepared. Needless to say, I've bought it prepared, but I might break down and try the powder.

I'm not planning to do anything this weekend. It's already been raining cats and dogs today (we've had so much rain this last week that I was unable to do the pool thing), and does not look like it's going to abate. I'm not sure what the weather is for tomorrow, but I'm praying for a "shunshiney day" so I can get into the pool and work on my tan some more.

I am supposed to go to NY in August, but I think that I will pass again (I was also supposed to go last month). I'm not into traveling on a plane these days, and I don't like the idea of spending the money when I am really not comfortable about going.

Pat, you've been through so many changes this past year...it was enough with your having changed jobs and trying to adjust. Then you took some classes. Why don't you just try to relax and take your time about adding more stress to your life. You need to get adjusted to the changes that have already occurred. Of course, we all can only take one day at a time. Make the best of it, but don't stress yourself out in the meantime. Stay focused where it is more important in your priorities.

Sue, I hope you're having the best time on your trip. You will be one busy girl when you return just getting adjusted with your new job. Maybe you can find someone at work as a low carb buddy, and maybe you can work out together. That would get you back on track with the program. As long as we all have been on the program we're pros!!! Maybe you could help your coworkers or start a class once a week (sure, Lee, add more stress to my life!!!).

Pam, I really enjoyed our little visit today. I hope we have an opportunity to do that more often like we used to. It really gave me a boost to get going the rest of the day.

I have missed you all so much. Let's all get back with the program together. There's no doubt in my mind that we all can do this...it's nothing but a "thang". It's just another way of life. (sure, she says that when she was craving cobbler and ice cream, but she's determined to do this this time).

I did have a wonderful tyime. finanaces are not going good yet but hopefully soon!! I pray that i will satart work tuesday!1 (all please pray for that too)

We were by the river and went in frequently. atleast the boys did. I went a few times but mostly met many wonderful people. I also met a friend that i have not seen in 10 years that i had workded with. i did that alst few years meeting up with people that ihad not seen in many years in the strangest places. one last year put her camp right next to me. and this time her grand son was playing with my son for 2 days before we found out who we were it was fun!! then i met some folks that were old time campers for the last few years!!!

Sue that is great, it sounds loke you had a great time. The bummer is, (i didn't realize it until just now) DH and I went thru long lake inlet etc. last sat. Isn't that somewhere near where you camp? If so we probably just missed each other. You had some awesome weather. Missed you though.

I posted this in a few other places but know you gusy need to know. I am devestated but i do have hope yet. I pray that things will work and hope to god that i can find a way to get $$ soon.

I called today and as i was on vacation and will be gone the next time they have nursing orientation i can not start till SEptember. I am so upset I NEED to be working this week!!! SO I guess it is back to the drawing board. Unless things work out with my other iron in the fire. which I pray it will.

I really am upset so i hope that food is not my consulation today. but for me it will get me down for a few hours just enought to finish the laundry take a long bike ride and then get off my a$$ and get that resume back in working order. I told them that i just may be working in another place by then as i do need to work. So it just may be their loss!!! LOL But for now i have to hold my head high and tell all my bills they will have to wait. and hope to God that the cars do not break!!! I atleast have $.53 in my checking account!!! I am not in the neg today!

I have been working out most everyday for about two hours a day. I do three sets of 16 exercises designed to build muscle and tone the whole body with the stress on my upper arms ( which could hide a volkswagon), thighs and hips ( pure jello). Today I have so much to do in the house but that's ok. The projects have taken a lot longer to accomplish as I have spent the two hours in the pool and I must get this done!
Sue Bee I posted a reply to the job problem on 100lb club but allow me to say I KNOW all is being worked out for your good so hang on. The world will fall into place for you.
You and Lee really have so much that is in the works for your good. Things will happen that seem dreadful at the moment but is just an illusion. How often we question the plan for us but the right people, the right places, the right situtation will occur that will just easily take you to your goals. Ususally there are a few big bump along the way. We are always in such a hurry for many reason and God's time and ours tend to be a bit different. Our way is most often very bumpy and rough, his way it just clicks almost without effort. That is my life experience and the largest lesson I have ever learned. Keep in mind the bumps you all will have now , no matter how it feels are just that, Bumps. The silken road is made in His time and in his way. Just keep trucking and when it clicks it clicks big time!!!!!!

I'm here and still stayingOP until tonight. Greg is taking me out to dinner so HE can celebrate our 4th anniversary. ROFLMBO. I really don't want to cheat tonight, and (hopefully) probably won't. I am looking forward to Friday's weigh in.

It took me one month (and hundreds of pages) to write what I needed for the beginning of my project. I finally finished it yesterday, so I'm feeling pretty good today.

I went shopping for more food yesterday. Greg just doesn't get it...it's good to stay OP, but that doesn't mean you can eat 5000 calories a day. He says he's losing, but his tummy and jowls have returned.

I'm still in the "I hate men" mode!!!

I'm hoping to get in the pool and sunbathe today. I also must color my hair. I don't think the "skunk look" is in (and I don't want anyone to ask me why I dyed my roots dark)!!!

I'm still having a time with eating, but I'm thankful that I found the myoplex shakes. At least they help with getting more calories.

Lee it is so good to see you. I can now wait till we can read your manuscript/ book Great job on getting that done. I wish that i can write like that. maybe some day but with thekids it is hard to be able to concentrate on anything untill teya re gone. maybe some day greg will slow down on his eating it takes time to feel full and realize that your eating does have to cut down. us owmen do that almost automatically as that has been ingraiend in our minds from the beginning.
