Hi everyone! I've been a little hesitant to post here because I really don't "feel" like a featherweight, but I figure I should try something new and you all seem great!
Quick background: I've been on the chubby side since childhood and reached my highest weight (173!) in college. After graduating and putting an end to ridiculous amounts of alcohol and greasy food, I made it down to mid-150s and just figured I was meant to be a bigger girl and my body was happy there. Turns out, my mind was really unhappy there, so I finally got around to doing something about it! I've totally turned my life around in these past 3 months, in terms of healthy eating and exercise habits, and finally feel great about myself.

Now to keep going once I start my 2nd year of med school in a few weeks...I think I'll need your help with that!
But now, I'm of course struggling with these last 7-8 pounds. Ugh. I've been feeling hungrier lately and 1200-1500 cals just doesn't seem like enough, but I really want to lose these last pounds so I'm torn between taking a few weeks "off" (eating 200ish more calories of only the healthy, great food I've been eating) or just trying to push through and keep going with what I've been doing, which has been working. I know the last pounds are the hardest, so what have you guys found to work best? Increase cals, lower cals, keep the same range?
Sorry for the super long post! I'm looking forward to being a part of this group and sharing all the ups and (hopefully not too many) downs of this crazy journey! Thanks!
