Well, I have good news!! After hitting 140 last September and wandering around in the 130s ever since then, I finally cracked the 120s today!! 129.6!

Hi everyone... I'm sooo frustrated!! I began watching what I eat about 3 weeks ago and have been working out regularly for a little over a week. I have lost almost 5 pounds, but no inches...

I weighed myself pre and post shower today. Water + wet towel = 2 pounds

Kittycat - You're doing great! If you don't mind sharing, how many calories are you eating? Are you doing "weightloss" stage again to get back into your maintenance range?

QUOTE]

Thanks TC! I am eating b/w 1300 and 1400 cals a day-- that is weightloss range. I am back to maintenance weight today-- 124.5 and really would like to get to --- well, less that that. I don't want to psych myself out.
I'm off for a run.

Mini, just keeep it up. You will get where you want to go (and 5 pounds is nothing to sneeze at )

Default Hello!

Hi everyone...
I'm new(ish) to the site. Been lurking/reading a lot and finally decided to post. I am just 3-4 lbs from goal and I'm kinda little to begin with, so I guess that makes me a featherweight? It was suggested I post here rather than on the main intro thread, so here I am!

I live high in the Rockies, right amongst all the ski resorts. I worked very hard all winter and managed to neglect any kind of working out and ate a days worth of calories at 6-7 pm when I was done for the day. Baaaaad. So, I gained 12 lbs and on this little frame, SO not good. I've lost most of it, but want to finish it off. The last few are the hardest!
You better believe that will NOT be happening to be this winter! Too hard to get the weight off at this age.

Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Samantha

Good Morning Everyone. Once again stuck at 143. My weight was able to bounce around a little last week going to 140.5 and 141 but I can't get it to stay there. Did not have the best eating week or weekend so I'll try again this week. I'm thinking I might have to wait until the kids go back to school in September to be stricter with my calories and increase my exercise. With them being home I find it harder to plan and stay on plan or to do what's necessary to lose more weight. I might work on maintaining over the summer and then try to lose the last 7-10 lbs in September. I'll keep trying different things the next couple of weeks and see how it goes.

Good Monday Morning!

I, too, am stuck in the 140's. But for a Monday ... not bad, not bad at all. And I don't need to try anything new. I just need to stick to plan

Hi everyone
my scale was kind and put me back to 124.5

After work tomorrow I am meeting elementary school friends for a dinner out. I will stay very on plan today because these women know me as a chubby girl and I want to look my best.

Thanks for the vote of confidence bargoo!

I am feeling pretty much physically prepared for this dinner. I washed and blew then hot iron straightened my hair very early this am because we are meeting after work. My skirt is a cutie black old navy just above the knees and I have a very pretty tank top/cardigan set on.

Scale 123.5. Haven't seen that number in at least a month.

Good morning!

I'm feeling pretty good this morning too. This is the lightest I've been since March 2008 when I last was actually in the 130's. Mind you, now that I've looked that up ... I can't believe I've floundered that long. Time flies when you're stuffing your face
