Back to seriousness now, I really agree that you should share your medical information with your parents. They deserve to know. I know you don't want to worry them but you're going to need the support if your results are positive. It's going to be hard and there is no denying that but I promise you that having that support and those shoulders will do you a world of good when you need it most.

as other as have said this email was purely to make himself feel better. he has a problem and he wants to make sure that you know it was you and not him. however, if it really was you he'd have confidence in himself and thus the tact to not mention it to you ESPECIALLY when you are going through this awful awful ordeal. only someone with very low self esteem would send an email as passive aggressive as this. i am totally disgusted by it!

my mom also had hodgkins lymphoma when she was 17-18. i dont know if its a comfort but she was able to act pretty much like a normal teenager all throughout. i say pretty much because there were hospital visits and chemotherapy but she still went partying with her friends and my dad all the time and this was like in the dark ages! i know you have already suffered a loss from this disease but i thought maybe an example of a happy ending might help you feel even the tiniest bit better.

The best thing you can do to get back at him is to live your life happily! Even though you are faced with this possible diagnosis you can still go and do things and LIVE. You are one hot mama and you will come out of this stronger and healthier than you did going in. If it took this to realize you were with trash and for you to take the garbage out to the dumpster, it might even be a teensy weensy bit worth it. NO ONE deserves being berated and put down and emotionally trashed the way that you were. If it were me I would make sure to tell all his even remote acquaintances the truth of everything and then maybe embellish it a little.

Also, please tell your parents about this. This will be a fight that you can not do by yourself. You will need physical, emotional, spiritual support. Your parents are there to help protect you and let them do their job.
