hereicome, you said exactly what I want also - not being on a diet for life, but making changes that help us and will slowly let us lose fat and get fit. Hooray for the upcoming Bahamas vacation!

Someone spoke of the "fake" hot dogs - were they tofu or soy? I've only tried Healthy Choice fat-free dogs, but have liked them. I also found a brand of whole wheat hamburger buns that have half the calories - that's a help.
I've been totally good at work, not eating anything I shouldn't - which is good, 'cause it's when I come home that I've been making the not-so-good choices. I've got to remember that I lost 12 pounds by eating less and eating better. Just because someone brings something tempting into the house doesn't mean I HAVE to eat it. I sure want to, but I also LOVE feeling my jeans all loose in the butt. I like that alot better!!!
But I am keeping to committing to some kind of exercise each day, and I tell you I am feeling some toned muscles in my waist/sides (obliques, I think) which is very cool and motivating.

Oh yes - my time came to measure again; not anything huge, but at least I think I lost 1/2" or so from waist, and same from flabby upper arms!!!!!
