chelby-no, I haven't read them but have read romance novels with a kilt theme. Scottish people seem highly amused by kilt rippers, which is a term I've seen used for a display in our local Borders!!!

I'll post up my wedding photo in my profile so you can see my kilted hero!!! It's funny though. Now that I live in Scotland (and have been here over 7 years!

) some of the romance in the scottish novels seems a bit hokey...especially when they write the accents out phonetically. I dunno, I've picked up the lilt and sound more Irish than American now...it's REALLY hard not to do pick it up. (BTW, why isn't there a kilt smiley?!)
