Default My 2 cents

I bought the PC version of Fitday about two years ago when it first came out. I have enjoyed using it. I recently tried out Calorie King and LOVE the fact that their data base is huge. I can just enter in my Healthy Choice meals, Luna bars..etc instead of having to create custom meals for every one. Fitday has not been updated that I know of since I bought it. It has all the basic foods listed, but hardly any convenience type foods. Calorie King has just about everything I have looked for in its data base. I downloaded the free trial of CK software and I don't like it as much as I do Fitday. I think Fitday has better charts and graphs. If I could sync the desktop with the online version, then I would pay for the CK software, but as far as I know, it only syncs one way and I really would like it to sync both ways. For instance, if I am on another computer and log something, I want to be able to come home and sync my computer to the online stats.

I will continue using the Fitday PC version to log my weight loss and body measurements simply because I have two years worth of data on there. I like to have a PC version to use when my internet is down, which happens often for me unfortunately. If I was starting all over again, I think I would go with CK simply because if its larger data base. I like Fitdays charts better, but the convenience of not having to always create custom meals out ways that.

Thumbs up

I tried using fitday and don't like it much at all (the online version). I now use the healthy living site of kraftfoods.com and love it. It also gives me menu suggestions, and has the recommended suggestions they give me for calorie intake, fat intake etc and work around those.

I stumbled across another good site that is just getting up and running, but has loads of brand-name and restaurant (fast food) offerings.

It's also free.
