Wow I think you are doing awesome in your efforts. Not really knowing either of you it almost sounds like she is bitter because you have found something that is working for you and she hasn't. Rather than looking inside herself for answers, she is cutting your progress down.

Next time she asks your mom to ask how your progess is coming along, return the favor and ask how she's doing on her weight loss efforts.

I am little late to the thread, but I will echo everything that has already been said. The rate of weight loss is different for each and every person. I have had weeks where I expected a gain, but loss 4 lbs, and I have had weeks where I was good, and lost very little or gained. You are also speeding up your metabolism by excercising an hour every day and playing rugby. You are going to lose faster because of that, that is a fact. You will eventually slow down. I you on your weight loss. It is unfortunate that we will encounter people like that. I would ignore her behaviour. You keep doing what you are doing!
