I try to drink lots but admit that on days when it's cooler out, I probably don't drink as much. I'm also a diet coke hound! For someone who's a bit of a health food freak, that's one of my abberations
Today is abs and cardio again. I'm gonna have to do upper abs because my lower abs ache wonderful!
Foods be fairly good this week up until Pizza Delights buffet last night! Sunday will not be my free day. It's gone for this week, maybe next too!

SusanB -- What exercise did you do for lower ab soreness?... I can always get upper abs sore, specially from that ab exercise this week it's still sore!! But lower abs I have no luck

I had a good run in this morning I was gone for 1h10mins, so that's maybe 11.5k or so...

Have a good weekend all, specially the Canadians who have a long weekend this weekend......

Hi Ilene. I just don't like the abs exercises in BSB so I fiddled with my own.
On Thursday I did ...
3 set 5 reps knee raises on the VKR thingee
2 sets 5 reps ab crunches 52 lbs
I fooled with leg raise things. My son held my legs up and still so that I couldn't pull them toward my head.
Then later I did reverse crunches, flat.

The ones I remember really pulling on my lower abs were the ones Brad helped me with. I had to ask him not to pull so hard.

What do you do for uppers? I've been doing some reading this morning and it seems to be all about concentration and focussing on which ab muscles you're using.

Well, I'm usually pretty lazy about abs I just do basic crunches on the floor, bench or stability ball... This week when I got so sore is when I did abs with the barbell on my knees and rolled it back and forth... But that's basically it...
