OK, I had the pinch test today. Came out to 31.9% which actually extremely close to what the scale has been saying (34.9% was the highest it ever read and it's usually 30-33%). Alas, the scale was not off by nearly as much as I was hoping.
The whippersnapper who did the test was trying to tell me how to improve (e.g. you should be eating 4-6 small meals - duh; you should cut back on carbs and add protein - duh; you should make sure you are drinking lots of water - duh). So I asked him something about caloric deficit & he proceeded to tell me that a 750 calorie deficit results in a one lb loss. I said, "Do you mean about 3500 calories?" "No, that would be more like 10 lbs," says he. Not only does he not know what he's talking about, he doesn't have math skills either.
