Thanks for rubbing it in, Evangeline We are expecting snow again tonight and tomorrow. The daffodils are up about 5" and about to get another surprise My ds14 was supposed to go on a Boy Scout camping and biking trip to Gettysburg this week-end, but decided that he's had enough of camping in freezing rain. I can't say I blame him. Since I've had enough of cleaning up the muddy gear, I'm not encouraging him to go.

Today was arms and cardio. I hit a few new personal bests today- not sure why except I worked out at a different time and there were a few heavy hitters lifting at the same time and I didn't want to look like a wimp. I'm going to be hurtin' tomorrow For the record, that's a really stupid thing to do and a good way to get injured, which is probably why I'm injured so often. I have the body of a 50 yr old woman, and the mentality of a seventeen year old boy.

My eating today is terrible....time to throw out the food and get back on track!

hi LWL,
Just a short post for me today.
Did 20 mins row, 30 mins jog and 25 mins bike AND 1.5 hour of housecleaning.
FDefinitely time to stick my nose outside and go outdoors do some errands.

Mel, our daffodils are in bloom! Shyly but I see the colors. Also I have seen snowdrops (the flower). Expect you will see the other thing... snowflakes!

Have a great day everyone,
rabbit

Hi LWL,

Ok, Ok, it is getting a little to warm already, I walked during lunch and found myself seeking shade anyplace I could find it during my walk. The good thing is that it adds extra steps because I will walk across the street and around corners if I can just stay in the shade a little longer. It was 85, sure hope it cools back down and this isn't the beginning of summer already. It does feel good to walk outside though and get hit in the face with a cheerful bright sunny sky.

This week started out so great and ended up VERY weak. I wasn't feeling so great and I think most of it was just stress, I found out earlier in the week that yet another one of my co-workers was laid off. I know a big one is coming this month because they are switching from a 24 x 7 work week to 24 X 5 and that is going to cost people jobs but I wasn't ready to have it start hitting already. Of course I handled it very maturely by eating all off and feeling even worse. I finally snapped myself out of it yesterday and am feeling much better today (just because I'm eating better). I plan on doing UPBW tonight and since I did walk during lunch and am looking forward to a good workout tonight I probably will follow through with my plans.

Have a good weekend,
Evangeline

Hey gang

Evangeline -- I am sooooo looking forward to complaining about the heat ....

I had a very good workout today... I did an hour of chest and triceps... 40mins run on the then 25 mins on the bikes with the TVs, Gosh but I like those bikes Came home and I have been doing housework ever since... How boring is that! No other plans for today though...

Not much else in my end of the world so I'm off to lurk around a bit...TTFN...

I had a great week this week - made all my exercise and eating goals. My weight is now back to my signature, which is where it was before I got shingles and took 6 weeks to recover in Jan/Feb. Today is my B-day and DH got me a private yoga session followed by a massage I did both after a 45 min walk/jog as part of my 5K training (6 weeks to go). I am in total bliss right now. Tonight is a fancy steak dinner and tomorrow is a yoga workshop on chakras and energy (no, I actually have no idea what I am talking about but hope to know more tomorrow at this time). Hope everyone has a great weekend - enjoy "my" day and raise a glass of something to yourselves as you read this - thanks for being there for me!
