Hi y'all! Well I'm back and definitely back to the grind. I gained some weight over my vacation. I don't know how much yet because I've been afraid to check. I think tomorrow morning I'll brave the scale. I had so much fun though, and that's the important thing. Now I'm back in school and this will probably be the last semester of my MA. I've got about a month to finish my MA paper. Its kind of scary, but I'm pretty excited. I just hope I can figure out how to prevent emotional eating and fit in my exercise.

ellis, you'll be in my thoughts.

Hope you and your family still are doing OK.
LLS - thank you for the cookie recipe – they look absolutely delicious!! I totally agree with you: I want to make and eat “real food” too; no splenda or nutrasweet, but real sugar or honey in cookies and food. Not that I actually make food that often, of course!
Hannah - best of luck on your last semester! Exciting times!
I find that my best weapon against emotional eating is making livable routines for eating and exercise. (I have been known to exaggerations and trying too hard – also known as starting and quitting-right-away! )

I’m having a quiet weekend so far – I’ve been watching old episodes of Arrested Development! I’ve watched Shrek 2 twice, *and* I want the soundtrack – some of the songs are really fun!
