What WAS I doing up at 5:40AM, you may ask? Well, outside of the cat brats getting me up for their breakfast, I waited for daylight to break for my morning power walk. It is a new daily ritual of mine, you see; walk in the morning (provided it isn't raining or freezing lol) and work out 30-60 minutes each evening. Hey, I haven't dropped 40-odd pounds so far just on boring food alone, you know. Well...not all the food has been boring....

Natalie: Sorry to hear about the boyfriend. Maybe it is time for either a long talk or a change. Thank goodness you aren't going through the chaos I did recently, though. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

Barb: The room looks great! Nice job!

Andria: WooHoo on the insurance...here is a happy dance just for you !!!! You earned it, and great going on Curves too!

Tina: You have spoken some true, strong words there, dearie. Bless your golden heart.

OK, now it is time for me to get off my tookus and find something more constructive to do...I will see you taters laters! PEACE OUT!

All is well here - ran a bunch of errands after work. Just finished exercising and now I watching Cupid.

Default Woohoo!

I'm doing a happy dance right now!

I'm sitting on the couch, on the internet, making this post from my brand-spanking new laptop! I got the wireless router so that I can connect to the cable internet and work upstairs. I told DH that I was tired of feeling bad because I had to go downstairs to work on bills or want to go downstairs to check in with you guys. I'd feel guilty after having been apart during the day but never enough time at night to spend with him and the dog and keep caught up on all my paperwork. This is awesome.

Catching up now:

Barb - Loved the room! You're really working hard your house. I can't believe that you all have had 17 days of rain. We are hurting for rain. Have a great time in Florida.

(Side comment - already realizing the problem of being on the internet and in the same room as dh. He's bugging the crap out of me and the dog is staring me down. Just told dh that if he didn't leave me alone and quit yapping at me, I was leaving the room.)

Okay, I'm going to have to cut this short and go walk the dog. I'll be back in a bit.

Hi everybody! I was here yesterday and had a long post together and then lost it with no time to re-create.

Had 'bank jobs' to do yesterday. Today I was back out doing a cosmetics reset and I'll be back to that store tomorrow again. It is a very physical job. Me thinks this old girl is too old and fat to work this hard. Too bad I have 7 more stores to do, eh?

Evilyn: I wanted to welcome you to our little corner. Seems like we're getting alot of girls from the PA area. I'm glad you joined us and I hope that you'll be a frequent visitor.

Duckie: Great pics. What beautiful scenery.

Barb: That bedroom looks like a professional decorator did it. Did you ever think of going into business?

I'm sorry, girls, but I really can't do individual replies so I'm going to start over from here. I hope all of you have a really great night.

Hi Chickies:

Late here so I'm not going to write much. Loved the pictures!!! Loved that room! Duckie that looks like a great trip

Went to doc's today. Have to go in for a stress test and then back for follow up. Great. Haven't told the family about much of this because I know that it would worry them. And to be honest, I don't want to talk about it. Guess I'll cross the bridge when I come to it. Doc told me to take childrens aspirin until after they get that test done. Great.

Hope everyone is doing well. Can't remember who wrote that long post on Life but it was great. Just what I needed to hear. Thanks.

Hey everyone

I was finally able to WI today. Down another 1/2 a lb! Not bad considering the couple of days I was sick and off plan last week.

Quick computer safety note for you all. The town office keeps it's virus software updated, but we still ended up with the latest worm out there. The local news tonight said your virus software can't protect you from this one anyway, you have to download a patch for it.
http://microsoft.com/technet/treevie...n/MS03-026.asp is the address. From the sounds of it, this one gets nastier as it goes. Before we found out what was going on, it was just shutting our computer down over and over, but later in the day it was making it really hard to get back online.

I have a ton more to talk about and haven't done replies in ages, but it is late here. I'm headed to bed, ladies.

Andria

Good morning from Forest Library.
Yes I am at work already. I am still having car trouble . I got a ride with my mehcanic. He says I need a major tune up. The Car that is. (I probably need one too)

I think I have a vag. infection not just a UTI. It burns when dh and I had our little big and tasty. If it's not better in a few days I'll go to the Dr.

Work is good just hectic.even though school has started.

Food is soso. I start out good then go down hill from there.

Good to see so many of you here.
Barb: The room looks great. Want to come do mine?

Son has gone back to work so I guess he is better.

To everyone else Hi and I love all of you.

GOOD MORNING CHICKS!!!

I hope everyone's day gets off to a bright start. It's going to be a hectic day here. I have a ton to do a work since I am going to be off for the next 3 days. Tonight will be filled with laundry and packing and getting the house and hubby in line.

I am so glad you all like my room. Believe me --- if I could make a business out of visiting you all and redecorating, I would!!! However, I think I'll have to keep my day job and stick with decorating on the weekend!!! Thanks for all the compliments!

Have a great day!
Love,
Barb

Good morning.

Just had a few minutes and wanted to wish everyone a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY !!
I have a busy day planned. My youngest daughter is coming over this morning to spend the day with me. I am looking forward to it. We don't get to spend a lot of time together.
This house moving is a NEVER ENDING adventure. I don't seem to get it all done.
My "to do" list just keeps growing. But trust me... I am taking time to enjoy my new home too. Work some... play some. LOL

I sure am a happier person since I have been soooo much more active.
I don't neccesarrily recommend everyone moves... but I do HIGHLY reccommend that everyone get themselves moving. Inactivity was one of my biggest handicaps. The less I moved the less I wanted to move. Now... I don't even want to sit still long enough to even get on the computer. But my LOVE for all of you keeps bringing me back.

I am out of here again for awhile. I have to get back to that "to do" list.
I can't wait until October when I start planning our reunion here.
I figure I will still be swamped the entire month of Aug... and Sept we are going on vacation so I will be busy planning and packing for that. But come October...I will be planning our get-together for the spring or early summer. I CAN'T WAIT !!!!
I won't be skinny yet... but I am going to meet all of you whether I am fat or thin.... on or off program. Like I said before... I have a new life plan.... LIVE IT !!! No more having to wait until I lose 100lbs to meet my cyber buddies. I will take life as I can get it... FAT or thin. (but still hoping for thin)

Talking Weigh In Wednesday

I lost 1 pound , this took about three weeks as this was since my last weigh in.
Oh it's so frustrating because I am almost to my second goal which is be to under 280.
But I'll keep trying, especially since all my bad stressors are gone. Except yesterday, here is what happened, I had a bad diabetic reaction at about 3:30pm, my blood glucose level went down to 57, I was all sweaty, shaking and started seeing black spots(flashing), I thought that it was because the sun reflected on something into my eyes but then it wouldn't go away, so after I checked my BG ,I drank a regular soda and had a 1/2 a peanut butter sandwhich.
I think my meds needs to be lowered, (glucovance tabs) and for sure I can't handle carbs, since what I had for lunch (1:00pm)was a taco salad. Almost like the ones Taco Bell has, but I ate only half of it. I think I need to stick close to the Atkins WOE, in order to have better control of my BG readings.
Not much else to tell, but I am trying to walk more like did a couple of weeks ago, so far I've only been walking 1 mile every morning.
I hope you all have a FUN FABULOUS week, I'll check on you all lighter

Talking WI (not Wisconsin!)

Hey babes...

WI...hmmm...back up to 250...that's okay, just my usual "one step forward, two steps back" routine. Next week will be better! I'm sure that calzone I had for dinner last night didn't help matters.

Had a lot of fun yesterday. My daughter and i went shopping for more dorm/school stuff. We hit Bed Bath & Beyond, Target, and CostCo. Big bucks were spent on this young lady! I had gotten a check from the hospital...(since I've been there so long, I'm at the top of my pay scale, so they calculate what my raise would have been, multiply it by a year's worth of hours, gouge it with taxes and send me a check!) Well, THAT'S gone! Easy come, easy go.

Dh and son caught up with us and met us for dinner at Bertucci's...(is that a chain, like Chili's?) Anyway, it's Italian food... I passed on pasta or pizza, but the spinach and zucchini calzone looked appealing! So that was my bigtime carb indulgence for the week...too bad it wasn't AFTER weigh in!

After dinner, we all hung out together, at home, just talking...something we haven't done all together in a while. Even after my son went to bed, the three of us just talked about everything under the sun til the wee hours...it was nice.

Gotta run, we're having an appraisal done today, I think she's here...

Hi Everyone!!

I am new to the boards, but came across this thread and thought you all sound just great!

I have over 200 pounds to lose and am planning on signing up for Curves on Friday. I have heard great things about their program, so I figured that I would give it a shot. I really believe that it is going to work this time! I have been doing the dieting yo-yo for so long and am really getting tired of it!

Any words of wisdom from anyone?

Okay gals, I was in the middle of great big long post, when my computer shut it self off, and I lost it, I don't know whats going on with this computer, about 2 or 3 times a week it shuts down then restarts itself, It's not a virus at least I don't think so, It has been doing this for months, so I lost my post and don't have time to re write now, maybe later this afternoon.
