good evening friends. Not much going on here. DH has been sick for two days so just relaxing at home for us. It's the only way we really do nothing so not the worst thing.

A hushed "Good morning" on this Sunday morning, since everyone here in my house is still sleeping, with the exception of Jake and me, and we're enjoying a quiet cup of coffee before the day gets started.

I was going to take the train into the city and meet up with DD and DGD to walk in the St. Patrick's Day Parade with them and their dance school, but it's going to be cold and windy today, so I think I'll just watch the parade on TV in the comfort of my home. So it looks like it will be a quiet day of rest here.

Cyndi, I hope Tim is feeling a lot better today!

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Cyndi write that she was relaxing. Good for you! I hope DH feels better soon.

Linda, I think you've made the smart choice! It would've been fun to be with them, if the weather was nice.

My grocery store is actually publishing the next week's sale ad at least a day in advance. It's about time! I was able to go grocery shopping yesterday, and knew what I'll get in a couple of days because it's on sale this week.

Boring day for us. Church and rest. I think it's supposed to be yucky out again, so no kayaking for DH.

Now I know Spring is coming when I hear that Carley is going to be in the St. Patrick's Day Parade. I hope M. gets pics if you aren't there. We have a skiff of snow here but above freezing temperatures.

I have three dogs swirling around my feet. They do get along really well but they all want me to pet them. Nobody got paint on their fur yesterday. I am always amazed at how well they all get along. Jazz sometimes gets into "old man" mode and retires to the couch leaving the two youngsters to mouth wrestle or argue over a ball.

Feeling rather bloated today after a largish lunch yesterday and then dinner at Liz's place up the hill. She served ham and I had eaten Italian sausages for lunch with the painting crew. It's going to have to be a very abstemious day with lots of water involved. I have football feet and sausage fingers!

Today will probably be spent putting away china and glassware - again! - and doing a financial report since there is a Board meeting tomorrow afternoon. We already have two student applications for summer guide jobs so the season is cranking up. We also have a PR guy from Porter Airlines coming for a tour this afternoon. They are considering doing a story for their in-flight magazine. And so the season begins!

By the way, the snow has pulled away from the foundation by the walk and I spotted some daffodil shoots yesterday. It's coming!

Good morning,

It is supposed to be a beautiful day here, right now its quiet in the household. We got the days wrong so no flea market and we didn't go to the parade since violence is up again in St. Louis.

Ended up going to the mall and we scored spring clothes for DD2 she had outgrown most of her clothes again.

Cyndi hope Tim is feeling better today

Cottage I would prefer to watch on tv as well if the weather is bad

Twynn enjoy your day

Ruth sounds like you to have a lot of water on agenda for today, hope it all swooshes away

Have a wonderful Sunday

This weekend was a good mix of productive and relaxing. Got most of my niggles checked off for this week (although that laundry/groceries/cleaning trio reappears every weekend!!) and managed to finish my book.

Have a great evening, chicks!
